I go back down the fire escape and attempt to stealthily make my way around any creeps and head in the general direction of the Yoshida Enterprises HQ.

Pahowaki had seen such things during hunting trips to the outskirts of the forest, but he'd never been quite this close. It was an interesting sight, but the mission was a larger for the moment. Paho makes a mental note of the landmark, and drives on

I decide to head downstairs to the reception desk. On the way I review my pre-journey notes about Outer Dresbin, hoping to catch a mention of Titor City in them. Once I arrive at my destination, I look neutrally at the recptionist and ask, in a general way, if there was anything especially strange that she saw check in.
If she asks any questions, I'll her I'm looking for a friend of mine, who has been known to traffick with weird beasts.

A thin gate blocks your path a booth sits beside the gate, in which a man in a very ornate skull mask is sitting in a chair, leaning back and reading a comic book. "Morning, how many travellers do you have in your automobile?" He asks, not gazing up from the adventures of Ronnie Raygun and the Bod Squad.

Conveniently enough, someone has stacked some boxes high enough to climb up into a punched out ceiling tile. In this room there's also a coffee machine and some filing cabinets.

You come to a crossroads, heading left would bring you towards the old banking district, wolf row they used to call it. Heading forwards would inevitably bring you closer to the Yoshida HQ, but would also bring you closer to the four or five members of the Yamashin's hivemind, bumbling and groaning as they wander around the street, dripping globs of black gel off of their mangled forms. Heading right would bring you towards that bar that had all the ads in the newspapers you keep digging up.

"Just the usual scavengers and wanderers. Nobody too interesting I'm afraid. Will you be staying another night?" The receptionist asks, audibly fumbling with something under her desk. You hear a soft click emanate from the desk.

Valkyrie checked the cabinets for anything useful, and proceed to climb up, carefully.

Pahowaki pulls up to the odd booth. It's not something he's really seen before, but it's rather self-explanatory

"It is just me, on business from elder. The issue is urgent, so if I could just be let through..."

I seemingly pay no heed to the noise and say: "'Fraid not, miss. I've got to hit the road." With a chuckle I add "My family might come looking for me if I tarry any longer." I give her a weak smile. "They're rather... protective, if you catch my drift."

The cabinets contain nothing but useless files and dust.

Climbing up leads to a similar looking break room in the second floor. You can hear a deep, wet breathing emanating from a few rooms away.

Pahowaki seems a bit annoyed at the hold up, and the man's tone of voice, but seems content with the explanation and answers to help speed to process along

I question how effective the nailgun would be against foul beasts like those of the Yoshida, then consider it not worth the fight and head to my right hand side towards the bar.

Valkyrie slowly looks for any sign of loot, and leans his rifle on a counter, trying to keep the noise level to the absoluete minimum.

I walk out of the hotel, eventually ending up at the main gate. Once I arrive there, I ask the gatekeeper(s) about the Fraternal Society of Poets delegation that must have surely passed through this city when they first came to establish the Outer Dresbin chapter. If they are in an especially talkative mood, I'll next ask about the man with strange beasts and vials of black liquid.

The gatekeeper is a sturdy man with a tremendous rifle. He looks up at you from his chair. "Poet folks came through a year or three back. Didn't seem too much of a threat. You with them or something?"

"He had these creatures that looked like, I don't know, dehydrated corpses with these big frightening helmets. He had this big mask on his head, shit looked straight through my soul."

I furrow my brow, and jot down some notes in my book. I've got to keep a record of phenomena like this to bring back to the Society. "Yes sir, I came to investigate their disappearance. Did you happen to learn which way they were headed?" I ask. "Also, if you could tell me in which direction the creatures and the man went, I'd be much obliged."

Pahowaki seemed rather confused, but started up his cart and kept on his journey. As soon as the gate opened, that is. Paho follows the road and the mans directions, hoping to find the place quickly.

I could probably find some more weaponizeable goodies in that hardware store to accompany my new nailgun and friends.

I make my way to the front entrance of the store and attempt to go inside via the doors.

The door was sealed, but this is fixed by opening the door. Inside is a posh, well lit hardware store. The building smells of old wood and there are aisles upon aisles of tools and other such hardware

You quickly climb into a cupboard below this break room's sink.
In enters a quivering being covered in long gashes, bleeding link gel out of newly formed blisters on it's torn flesh. A cog of the Yamashin's vast machinations.

Valkyrie attempts to stick the rifle barrel out of the cupboard. If he can't, he waits.
