I've been trying to remain quiet on this issue but it's clearly something that people want to happen.
16 days ago Tim announced that he would put up a thread for phase 2 of the Staff Selection Process. Here we are 16 days later and that thread hasn't been posted yet. A community forum such as this can't remain under one lone admin especially one who isn't actually in the same timezone as a lot of posters most of the time. This means that this forum isn't being moderated to its fullest at the moment. So Tim
It also seems that a lot of people want new themes. Whether they be from Purring or Book or anyone else for that matter, the people want new themes. Enabling them to make themes would be great!
Vote yes for new Admins. All we need is 10 votes right?

I'll quickly explain what I want phase 2 of the selection process to be and why it's taking a while for me to work on it. Phase 2 isn't asking people for nominations, it's presenting a list of people who have been nominated, attaching a poll and looking to see who people object to. I got a lot of suggestions and so I'm busy filtering through them all and deciding who I think that I would have an issue with being an admin.
As for why it's taking a while, I have one week of school left before the week-long break between the 3rd and 4th quarter and so I'm trying to get lots of schoolwork and whatnot done and as such I don't have the time to write up information on all of the candidates for administrative positions. There are somewhere around a dozen candidates, all of whom I want to write up at least a paragraph on, and it's difficult with school and whatnot.

You guys want more information on when the admins are to be selected, and I get that. However, I simply don't have the time to filter through all the PMs and compile a list immediately. Within 8 days I promise that I will have the thread up, but hijacking other threads with the same requests (like what you did to my thread on mondegreens) isn't going to speed up the process; if anything, it's just going to piss me off and make this take longer. You guys have made your request clear and I am working on it.

Literally all you need to do is make a poll or two that asks "DO YOU WANT THESE PEOPLE AS ADMINS: YES OR NO"
Then just list all the options with yes and no next to their name
Lego: Yes
Lego: No
Tails Yes
Tails: No
Purring: Yes
Purring: No
We can make our own decisions based on prior experiences with said people
And frankly, Tim, I don't trust you make an unbiased synopsis of anyone here

Whatever three people hhave the most votes by the end of a week gets to be admin simple as that

Maybe in a small group like this it could, but Democracy rarely works. Didn't Tim mention specifically selecting people whom don't want the job? Following the Roman ideal for electing a Dictator... Smart.

Holy fuck. I don't care how many suggestions there is, it should by no means be taking this damn long to get to the next phase in the admin process.
The longer this site goes with only an admin who lives in a timezone that the vast majority of people do not live in, the worse it will get. Just make it simple, there's no need for any informational shit or whatever you're doing right now.
Just do you want/not want these people as admins, yes or no. It can be that easy.

It's not like I'm fully credible or anything, for me driving a fraction of the spear through Bannanachair's heart, then co-running another forum and being an edgy 13-year old. Nope, I don't have any leadership talents whatsoever and I am glad that no one has nominated me for the position, and if I am dreadfully nominated for the position it's at the bottom of my heart where a small river of hope (and blood) runs throughout my body that no one will vote for me.
