So, I was thinking about the Crips (since I'm wearing all blue which is a coincidence) while I was taking a shit on the toilet and I thought, isn't the USA and all other countries just a gang, too? Because let's be honest, a group's popularity and control are based on its power. The United States is a colossal gang. Back in 1765 when the English settlers that wanted to secede from the British monarchy so a group (or gang) of settlers named the "Sons of Liberty" would protest and threaten British police so that they couldn't enforce the laws and taxes but in place by King George. Eight years later in December, the Sons of Liberty instigated the oncoming American Revolutionary War by following through with the Boston Tea Party, which was destroying an entire shipment of tea delivered to the colonies by the East India Company. With a rash decision by the British Parliament, the Intolerable Acts were put into place. This decision would further kickstart the American Revolutionary War.
So here's one example of a gang. The "United States of America" initially started out by a bunch of flustered English settlers creating a gang and destroying tea, which was a criminal act.
What other things do gangs have? Symbols, hand-signs, ranks, and colors.
United States Symbolism: the eagle, the stars, 13 stripes for 13 colonies, the liberty bell, etc.
United States Hand-Signs: right hand over heart during the US pledge, the peace-sign, hook 'em horns, etc.
United States Ranks: president, vice-president, secretary of defense, secretary of education, etc.
United States Colors: red, white and blue.
Now let's compare this to the Crips.
Crip Symbolism: a three-pointed crown, six-pointed star (two three-pointed crowns), 6.
Crip Hand-Signs: two fingers making a 'C', which stands for Crip.
Crip Ranks: triple O.Gs, tiny gangsters, O.Gs, etc.
Crip Colors: primarily blue.
Kill yourself if you agree.
