You're quite clearly one of the smartest people here, being able to somehow find out how to appeal to the masses, somehow managing to be everyone's friend, somehow managing to know quite a bit about lots of things, I assume you're a good strategist if you play CKII and now you're good at debating. You're pretending to be dumb by having something silly like Kingdoms as the main thing people know of you as and your constant usage of humour only aids to that illusion, which I assume you maintain purposefully. |

The reasons which I had implied for English people speaking English do not translate to either of the two examples which you have stated. Allow me to elaborate, for you clearly do not comprehend this at the moment. The main authority for the English language is Oxford University, and in particular their dictionaries. The English people speak English as popularized by Oxford, while Americans typically shy away from doing so. Therefore, the English are more correct in their linguistic usage than Americans. The main authority for the Catholic branch of Christianity is located in the Vatican, which is part of Italy in all but name and taxes. However, as the religious scripture used by the Catholics is universal and is used to the same extant in France and Spain as it is in Italy, it is arguable that those two nations have just as much collective general expertise in Catholicism as Italy does. However, you forgot to take the Orthodox church into account, and you completely forgot about Protestantism. Video games were developed at roughly the same time in many parts of the world, although generally America and Japan. In general, Japan makes better games than America, but that could be for a variety of reasons or just coincidence. And yes, people in Japan and Korea are often better at video games than those of us residing in or originating from western countries, although the reasons are different than that which I have attested to English people speaking English better. I sincerely hope that this has helped you comprehend my reasoning. If it hasn't, please tell me what parts of it you don't understand and I shall elaborate. Oi, props for including Star Fox on that list. Star Fox 64 is my favourite console game of all time. Oh god, so much yes. I can't say it's my favorite to this day, but I can definitely say that was the game I grew up on. Played that way more than any Mario game, honestly. |

Yes, those are all great franchises even though I don't paticuarly like Zelda but I've gone off Nintendo over the last couple of years for one reason or another. Japan used to dominate the gaming market but nowadays I have to disagree, there are so many other games that are great in their own right that it's hardly fair to say classic games such as those are still the best. Now I love them especially Pokemon but yes it would take more than those franchises to convince me that Japan makes the best games. |
