As the door closes behind both you and Mr. Ray. Mr. Ray proceeds to start talking.

"Choose any equipment you want." he says while poiting at the wall.

A silenced pistol.

A black suit.

Night vision googles.

A pen.

I look over each item, checking to make sure I'm not getting screwed over here. First, I check if the pistol has any ammo.

"Say, does the pistol come with any ammo, or do I just get the gun?"

I also check the pen for any hidden functions, along with checking out if the suit will fit. Finally, I check how much battery life the goggles have. I need to know everything, so I don't fly in blind with shitty, half used tools.

Mr. Ray walks up to you and says.

"The silenced pistol got one ammo clip, use it carefully. The night vision googles got full battery. The suit was made for you. And the pen can shoot a lazer which is useful to break locks."

He walks back to this chair and sits on it.

I take the pen, the suit, and the night vision goggles. I'm a damned professional, I don't need to leave so much of a trace behind they see dead bodies. Plus, with the snazzy pen I'd probably be getting around things anyways. You never know, right?

[Ooc question. Why can't I just take it all? The pen I could attach to my shirt, or in the backpack. The goggles I would wear on my head, the suit on my body, and the gun I would keep either in it's holster, or in my hand.]

(Well...I wanted to make a limit for items, so it wouldn't be so easy.)

Mr. Ray starts talking again.

"Very well, you should go upstairs now to meet up with your boss."

[Wack]

"Yes sir."

I head up to talk to my boss, whoever this cheery fellow might be. Based on what I know, he is probably some fat bastard who works for some super secret organization that is mad because someone pissed on his playground. Whatever, as long as he pays good.

You knock at the door and hear a voice saying. "Come in."

Your boss is sitting on his office chair. Right when he sees you he says.

"Oh it's you, are you ready to take the mission?"

[Wack]

I look at him with a calm, reserved expression. I straighten out the suit and nod a bit. I make a habit not to speak to those who are hiring me, just in case things go south or someone is recording something.

"I will take that as a yes." He gets up and walks off the office, giving you a hand sign telling you to follow him.

You both arrive at the parking lot. There is a helicopter right infront of it, both of get inside the helicopter and it starts flying towards Rich's mansion.

I keep quiet, thinking of strategies for this break in while I wait for us to arrive. My eyes wander out, looking over the landscape stretched out before me.

'Still better than the Marines.' A little voice inside of me whispers, and I can't help but smile.

The helicopter lands near infront of Rich's mansion. Up ahead is a gate which seems to be locked.

I nod at my boss, then hop out of the helicopter. I flip on my night vision goggles, and head for some cover, perhaps a bush? From there, I scan the perimeter, looking for any alternate entrances. I also try to guess how high the gate is, and if there are any electrical currents on it. I might just decide to jump over it..

The gate seems to be locked with a lock, maybe the pen could help you.

Yes, but that is really obvious, isn't it? The gate could also be monitored, so cutting it open with a pen without scoping out any potential alarms could get me caught before I'm even really inside! However, I'm assuming your enthusiasm means that no such security measures are in place.

I sneak on over to the gate, and use my fancy pen to break that lock.

Actually, there are security cameras, but not near the gate, there are two guards guarding the gate instead.

I'm guessing they're facing outside then? How tall is the gate, and what material is it made out of? I move towards it, hugging the side of the gate. I might just have to go around them.

The gate is about 10 meters tall, and it is made out of iron, maybe you could sneak past them...

You're right, that is a snazzy idea. Are there any bushes near the guards? How far apart are they? I've got some plans.

There seems to be a bush behind the guarding which is guarding the left side of the gate.

Anything I could use to distract the right guard? Maybe a stone or something? Or perhaps a rock?

There are some small rocks on the ground indeed. Maybe pick one of them up and use it to distract the right guard?

Exactly. I pick up the rock, and throw it against the wall next to the right guard. If I'm lucky, the sound and maybe the motion is enough to alert him to look in that direction. Once he is distracted, I will move up on the left guard, drag him into the bush, and take him out. Preferably non-lethally, but if he starts to get too loud, I'll punch him in the throat unless his windpipe is demolished.

The right guard gets distracted and you grab the left guard mouth and drag him in the bush.

Okay, I just knock him out there, then I move to quickly take out the right guard. I don't want him to have enough time to come back around and consider why his ally is missing.

You walk up to the right guard and smash your fist across his face, knocking him out.
