because amethyst says so and amethyst is me
also for real some people here(including me) thinks that there's an overfocus on ooc here and not enough on actual rps and roleplaying, which is why rping isn't happening at all, because we're too busy in ooc chat. there's more posts in rt alone than anywhere in the roleplaying section. |

if the ooc section dies tbh I might just make my own forum where you don't have to rp to be considered active
maybe focused on artwork and venting or whatever idk

I don't agree, the OCC section is not telling you to avoid the RP section. Both are necessary, one for community and the other for RP and neither are more important than the other. If you think the OCC section is stopping you from RPing then ignore it and focus on RP. Removing it may damage the site as people like the section as is proven by its popularity.
