I launch the zipline at the balcony to pull me up. It'll get me close enough to where I want to be.

Pulling yourself up to the balcony, you quickly hop over the stone edge and find yourself, sure enough, looking directly at a pool. Behind it, a large pair of glass doors, accompanied by multiple large windows. The interior of the room behind it lie in complete darkness, save for a couple small glows being emitted by various electronics inside.

(Wait, am I looking at the pool below me, or through a window in front of me, or what?)

(The pool is outside, a semi-narrow walking-space surrounding the edges of it.)

(Ah, so the balcony I'm on is at the edge of it, or something like that.)
I walk over through the pool space(or drop down into the semi-narrow walking space on the edge, or whatever, I'm still confused). Since interior windows probably won't open, I check the glass doors for security devices or locks. I doubt there'll be anything, since this is pretty much an indoor open-air pool, but I should make sure before trying to open it and find an alarm going off.

You carefully study the door, looking for any signs of security measures though finding none. Sure enough, slowly grabbing the knob reveals that it is indeed unlocked. Proceeding into the dark interior and closing the door behind you, it is near impossible to see beyond two feet from the moonlight-bathed windows.

"Does the camera have any sort of filter that lets you direct me?" I ask, "I'd rather not have to turn the lights on."

"I have low light visibility, but not enough to see detail." the voice in your ear tells you. "I believe the exit to the hotel hallway you are looking for is straight ahead and down a corridor on your right. Be cautious of who is on the other side."

"It's fine, I just need to make my way around." I follow the instructions, going straight ahead and down the corridor, listening intently for any signs of another person out here.

Staying true to your name, you silently making your way as directed, with only the occasional bump against a table or chair, before soon finding the door leading out into the hotel. Only a faint line of light leaks through the bottom and top of the doorway, and pressing your ear to it makes no impression of noise. As you keep your ear to the door, you suddenly hear a toilet flush from somewhere on your left.

That would probably be the tenant of this room. I open the door and go out into the hallway, closing it behind me. Hopefully I didn't bump against anything so hardly that they could see or hear that I was there. After going out, I look for the stairs up to the penthouse, where the target should be staying.

You quickly exit the room, certain that you were unseen as you enter into the hallway. Brightly lit, you see only a few other doors marking what must be the other rooms. Down the short expanse of either hall, you notice a turnoff disappearing from sight.

I head down the hallway, looking for stairs upward to the penthouse.

Testing your luck, you decide to turn right and try that direction first. Cautiously proceeding down to the end of the hallway, you look around the turnoff to see a rather grand double-set doorway with a well-dressed man standing outside it. "Mr. Markens is asleep." he said simply to you.

"Sorry, wrong turn." I say, looking sheepish, and backing into the hallway again. Looks like the stairs are the other direction.

"Other end, dumbass." you hear him say to you as you turn around. Proceeding to the other end, you turn around the turnoff and find an elevator as well as a doorway which, judging the the sign next to it, was the stairway.

Opening the door, I go up the stairs. In a fancy hotel like this, the elevator is bound to have a camera in it, and it would be very bad for me if I was caught seen as the only person to go up to see the target, then come back down, then the target is found dead in the morning.

Proceeding to and up the stairway, which even for an emergency route seemed pretty well taken care of, and find yourself at a doorway at the very top. Cautiously opening it, you can see the elevator door right beside you and, what you didn't think was possible, an even grander looking double-set doorway with a pair of men standing outside it, looking rather tired in stature.

This isn't a time for negotiation. And I can't use my gun except in an emergency, because without a silencer, somebody will hear the noise of a gunshot and the alarm will be sounded. I draw two of my throwing knives, and throw them, one each, into the faces of the two men.

Casually walking out of the stairwell, a miniature throwing knife in each palm, you throw your wrists up before they can open their mouths to speak. The guard on your right falls to the ground, blade handle giving him a beautiful unicorn horn, while the man on your left began to gurgle after falling, blade handle showing a hit on the side of his throat.

I walk forward, make sure both of them are dead, wipe the throwing knives on their clothing and return them to their place on my belt. After that, I examine the door and its lock.

After finishing off the living guard and reclaiming your weapons, you bend down to look closely at the door's security mechanism. A simple card scanner, though searching the guards proves no yield of any master cards. "You have tools, yes? Unscrew the bottom of the panel for the scanner." you hear in your ear.

Taking out my lockpick tools, I follow the advice and unscrew the bottom of the panel.

Upon opening and detaching the panel, you pull it back and reveal a set of AA batteries and three black wires. "Pull out the batteries and, within three seconds of doing the last battering being removed, sever the center wire. Otherwise, the door will unlock for three seconds and, unless batteries are put back in place, will permanently lock until re-coded into the hotel's program after three minutes. Severing the wire after three seconds will also trigger this effect."

Taking out one of the knives, I hold it to the center wire with one hand while with the other I pull out the batteries one by one. After the last battery is removed, I cut the wire.
