Sitting in one of AGE's recreational areas, you are interrupted during a casual game of pool as a younger, light haired man wearing the familiar blue and silver colors of your agency. "Greetings, Spearhead. Your debriefing for the Sinaloa contract." he says, handing you a yellow packet. "Dispose of it after you're finished." he then adds before exiting the room. Opening the packet and taking out the debriefing, you read;
Agent Spearhead,
Your request regarding Sr. Delmar Vinas' contract has been approved. You are retrieve any necessary gear and report to the hangar bay where you will board a carrier bound for Sinaloa, Mexico. Upon arrival, you will transfer over to a helicopter pilot that will drop you off approximately 2 kilometers from the compound. After Sr. Vinas has been eliminated, escape the compound and an extraction will be sent to your location. Remember to minimize cartel deaths while making Sr. Vinas' execution in clear sight if you desire the bonus.

(Ooh, an idea - A thread for the recreation room for characters to socialize and whatnot off-duty.)
(Also, a question. Do I live in the HQ and have a room here and whatnot, or do I live elsewhere and just have a locker or something?)

(Aye, that's pretty much the idea for the HQ. You're free to talk openly in the HQ along with it being the location to claim contracts.) (That's completely up to you. Here at AGE, we do offer a selection of apartment-style suites within the HQ vicinity, though you may have your own dwelling elsewhere if you'd like.)

(I'm assuming that the suites are on another floor or several more floors of the building, please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll make a new post)
I head off to the elevator leading up to the floors that have the suites, and enter my room. Aside from my bed, a closet for clothing and weapons, a desk and an apple desktop computer, my room has only one personal item hanging up on the walls - An antique spear from the Roman Empire, circa AD300. It's been a family heirloom for several generations, maybe since the Roman Empire was in power - I never bothered to ask, I always just thought it was cool. It was, in fact, the thing that inspired me to choose "Spearhead" as my codename.
I admire the spear once again - The soldier who used the spear was paid in bags of salt to kill enemies of his state, so in a way even just by bringing it here I'm honouring it's legacy. I then proceed to go to my closet and grab some clothing - Mostly street clothes, due to the fact that druglords often live in the penthouses of highrise buildings and things of that nature. However, depending on the specifics of the area and his personal preferences for shopping and dining, I'm also bringing uniforms for popular chain restaurants and stores. While I'm thinking of disguises, I also grab a fake beard and a wig, for me to execute the public execution without anyone knowing my real face (which would be a real hindrance to jobs if I ever get another one in this area). I also decide to change into camouflage-esque clothing so that, in the event that it's not as urban as I'm planning for I can at least get there in secrecy.
I then grab my duffle bag which I packed two days ago upon requesting this job. The duffle bag contains all my weapons and equipment, aside from my earpiece - I only take that out when I go to sleep, for in case any agents out in the field call in to ask for advice that I can supply. I quickly cram the clothing, beard and wig into the bag, and head off to the hangar bay.

Upon arriving to the hangar, you scan the various blue-and-silver aircraft vessels resting on the stretch, all with the familiar 'AGE' font emblazoned upon their sides. After a moment, your eyes run across the appropriately marked carrier and you quickly climb inside, clapping the pilot on the shoulder on your way. "Heading to Sinaloa?" he asks as you take your seat.

"Indeed. What's the weather like this time of year over there?" I ask.

The pilot give you a quick glance before chuckling. "Hotter than holy hell and just as humid. Hold tight for a moment here." he warns as he slowly began to pull the carrier out of its resting position, quickly launching down the stretch before pulling into the clouds above. "Get comfortable, it's going to be a good five hours or so." the pilot then calls back as the aircraft began to settle.

"Is there in-flight WiFi?" I ask. If it's going to be five hours, I might as well do some research, and it goes without saying that I have a phone (everyone does, nowadays).

The pilot nods, keeping his eyes scanning the rather empty skies ahead. "You know how AGE is with their pampering." he remarks rather dully.

Knowing that there's internet, I turn on my phone and start doing my research. The first thing I need to look up is the specifics of Vinas's living space - Large city, small town or isolated bunker. Once I figure that out, I'll need a little bit more info on his daily schedule. I could easily just call up HQ and ask this stuff, but they're probably busy with other things.

Looking up all available information regarding the Sinaloa Mexican Cartel, you find that they have a numerous amount of safehouses and fortified bunkers spread throughout the Sinaloa controlled areas of Mexico. Judging by the debriefing, you realize you've found your target upon coming across a small, remote compound far in the isolated region of eastern Sinaloa. It seems the facility, whatever it's former purpose with the Cartel, was used now as a safehouse. It appears that Mr. Vinas is hiding from someone, who could very well be you.

Look up if he has any known enemies. If there's someone else working for a different agency on this job, they could easily screw everything up for me.

Doing what little research you could, you find out about rising tensions and war between the Sinaloa cartel and another local cartel known as Los Zetas. If there were to be someone after Sr. Vinas, it would be a good bet to say that it's them. However, that also brings up the question as to who hired you, for it seems unlikely for a Mexican cartel to hire an assassin.

It's not my place to question my employers. I should bring up the news and whatnot, I guess, as that may have some more information on the nature of this gangwar and help me figure out of Los Zetas are my employers or if they'll be in the way of me doing my job.

Bringing up local news for the Sinaloa area, you find a few street confrontations between the gangs, but nothing much more beyond that. It seems unlikely for the Los Zetas to attack, or even know, the location of Sr. Vinas' safehouse.

I shrug, and continue skimming the news for his enemies - From his underlings to his bosses and everyone in between. Basically anyone who obviously stands to gain from his death should be taken into consideration as potentially sending a man of their own (or as my possible employer).
Once that's done, I'll catch up on some TV and play some online video games on my phone, just to kill the time.

Finishing what little research you could, you whittle the time elapsing the long flight through various forms of entertainment. After what seems to be much longer than it actually is, the pilot looks back to you to shout out the time remaining. "Approximately thirty minutes until you're to transfer over."

"What time'll it be when we land?" I ask, looking at my watch and taking note for if I need to adjust the timezone on it.

"Local?" he asks you, then continuing without waiting for your reply. "I believe it will be 6 PM or so."

"Alright. What time are you scheduled to pick me up at?" As I speak, I open up my duffle bag and take out the weaponry and fake beard. I put the earpiece in my ear and the suppressor on the Walther P5. Placing the Walther and piano wire in my pockets, I determine that this is, at most, a one-night mission and that therefore I didn't need to bring extra clothes (but better safe than sorry, right?). With my weaponry in check, I put on the fake beard, thus hiding my face, and I consider changing out of the AGE uniform before deciding that we're at most an urban legend among the masses and that even if they did track down AGE HQ, they're a drug cartel and we're a large international network full of trained assassins.

"Until HQ says you're either dead or you're back in my plane." he says rather dryly. As you get all your gear in check, you find yourself quickly approaching what looked like a rather small, remote outpost lying in the middle crevice of the surrounding hills. After landing, you step outside of the jet and are quickly met by a strip attendant wearing the familiar badge of AGE on his right chest, if nothing else of his garb seemed familiar. "We've been waiting for you, Spearhead." the man says, quickly guiding you across the area over to a waiting helicopter, the pilot standing outside it with a lit cigarette. "You're to board this vessel and land safely outside the cartel compound. Your helicopter is equipped with a dirt-bike, so you don't have to walk the two kilometers. Get in, get your business done, and get back to the chopper for extract."

"Just out of curiosity, do you think that this fake beard would be a good enough disguise from the cartel members if I'm to do a public execution like the job description told me to do?" I ask, as I get in the helicopter.
