One step closer. Don't move. Don't breath. Or they will find you. And they will kill you. Your life depends on hiding, fighting, moving. When they find you, you die. And if by chance you manage to escape... they will find you. They will hunt you down, and they will tear you to shreds. And then you will die.
The enemy is without limit. Without fear and without doubt. Without humanity or even life. This enemy is terror, horror, hatred, death. Three million dead in the first day, five in the second. Ten million people dead in a single day by the end of the week. And the number kept growing. Until there were too few humans left to keep up those numbers. They dropped back to five million. Then two. Kept it at two million for a week, untold numbers of people who thought they were lucky, only to be found and ripped to shreds.
Finally it has fallen. The human race numbers in the thousands now, scattered across the globe, with just a dozen at most dead at the end of the day, and not always at the hands of the enemy. Life is hiding, running, trying not to be caught.
And oh look. Here they are. Get ready. How long will you live?
