The Rising of a Hero
During a war; a war between the humans and covenants; a war which will decide who will live and who will die; a war of a life.
This is a story of a Hero; A story of a Machine; A story of what science is capable of
Somewhere on Harvest 4:00 PM 2145
" I come in front of you my gentlemen not as a scientists but as a fellow human ; a fellow face among the crowds ; a thinker ; and above all a savior of our world we built over centuries . I have found the way to save us and above all save our kind and preserve our World “Doctor Williams Halsey said as he uncovered the great and outstanding prototype to the council in front of him.” And what is this supposed to do; dear sir “one face among the crow said to the Doctor. " Hah ; We have came to the point when we must defend our self against the Largest threats ; We have came to the point where we must get our right to live and prove our self to the many larger and powerful species , We have came to a point where we are defenceless ! " The doctor said to the council.
Not long after the presentation of his first prototype; in secret the doctor ascended up towards the surface of Harvest; He heavily rushed towards an Artificial Intelligence secret research site. As there was no sight of any persons he headed to his secret research room; and lifted a strange glowing tiny reactor with his hands. Williams then ran directly towards the Titanium-A prototype Artificial Intelligence Class Robot and plugged the tiny reactor inside the Robot's carefully placed mainframe. Not soon after that the robot awakens and uttered with an odd harsh voice “Where am I, What am I?” " You're the next step, You are the savior of the mankind , you are the next step in technology , You are the result of an evolution and the result of battles which lasted centuries " Doctor Williams replied to the Robot with a grin on his face .
" Follow me among the hallways , and you shall see what happened " Doctor Williams said as he left the research room with the robot following him straight to the Hall of History which is a large corridor among the laboratory so the inherit of mankind shall be always held and never forgotten . " This is ferocious what is happening Doctor, bloody wars have been outgoing “The robot said to the doctor with a soft tone.” Yes, right you are; we have been attacked long ago by a highly advanced species which wants to eradicate us; take our right to live in the Universe; and over all of those end us “Williams said with a firm voice to the robot . "Come with me “Halsey said to the robot and then rushed into one of the many rooms and equipped the robot and briefly told him about the usage of a gun.
6:00 AM; Next day
Fairly early into the next morning, the doctor showed the AI , through the world's various languages in case of situations where he would need to communicate with other people who did not speak his preprogrammed English. They continued this until they head a faint knock, it was a soldier who needed to talk with the doctor. "They've attempted to try and disrupt our shield systems. We need to be advised on what course of action we need to take." " I will go there and disrupt the covenant's activity onto the shield system " The robot said to the doctor and soldier. Then the soldier briefly presented the armory and weaponry in use ,as well as the current situation of the damaged shield system . Then the robot equipped himself with a special designed proton energy rifle ; it was one of the firstly made prototypes for a new powerful enough rifle able to defeat powerful the enemy's grubs .
" Follow me to the transporter ; so I can lift you to the atmospheric shield " The soldier said , not long after they both have arrived to the enormous shield generating facility . " There you go , may the odd be with you this time " the soldier said before handing a communicator to the robot and leaving . The robot has made up his way through a hand of grubs ; and headed towards the Mainframe of the shield facility , where he could see a large Plasma generator which was damaged almost entirely by the covenant's troops . He tried to handle the situation but he soon realised that the shield was compromised and communicated the soldier whom came up and lifted him back to the ground .
"What happened up there , at the shield mainframe " Halsey asked the robot displaying an anxious mood " It was unfortunately broken by a sort of unknown , high powerful weapon , nothing could be done anymore " the robot said to Halsey who soon realised that the Planet of Harvest and all the research centers might be destroyed with it as the enemy fleet approaches at a dashing speed . " Well , we are stranded down here until our forces arrive ; as I see they should have intercepted the enemy signals by now and mobilize " Williams Said to his companions . " As our fleet may approach soon ; We must get ready for combat ; ready to fight among the soldiers ; ready to defend whats ours ; ready to defend our right to live "
Not long after , both the greater Covenant fleet and the Human fleet have arrived and were ready for intense combat , the humans were ready to give anything outta them to defend the planet , they were ready to die for what's theirs , ready to fight for a species . The robot was ready to prove the strength and evolution during the centuries of Humanity . He was ready to fight like a human , ready to fight for whats his , and this is how the legend built up . Many troops were dropping into the atmosphere and soon the land became one of the greatest battlefields yet , the robot was fighting like a truly warrior among the humans . The sky was full of explosions , not even the great Star could be seen .
" Move , move , move we must secure the center NOW ! " Captain Willis shouted to his company and the robot . A cloud of rubble could be seen behind them , the enemy was coming . " I will prevent them from entering at any costs " the robot said before he took his positions at the entering of the Center . Soon the enemy arrived with a huge army and they were ready to finish anything that stayed between them and the gate of the Orbital Destruction Platform activation center . The robot like mad with the covenants , going to inch back , leaving no ground to the grubs . After tons of fires , the robot collapsed onto the ground . But , during his fighting , the Captain and his fellows managed to activate the Orbital Platforms which ravished the enemy fleet . This gave enough time to the troops to react and end the armies stranded on the ground .
Don't think the was it's over yet ; At least not yet , after the Clash of Harvest , the humans managed to strike the enemy in a chain of successful battles among the roadway of history . 6 Years later post Battle of Harvest , the humans were victorious in the war . But , at what costs you may ask yourself ? At the war funeral ceremony ; a great wall was erected commemorating all the lives lost , on that wall there was a corner , a corner of a savior ; A savior of an unknown name , a savior which was remembered until now as the " Hero " ; This " Hero " is a character of our story , he is the robot whom we followed , the robot who changed the World Forever . A warrior of a spacial kind
And finally ; this is how my story ends ; This is what the robot managed to do ; True he didn't live a long " life " , but he managed to save ours and whats why he is called a " Hero " and on the top of that , a savior of mankind
So far , perhaps one The robot will once awaken again ; and perhaps that time will be the last .
