Central gave you the word. All the mines that have been made are scattered across space, blocking all paths to the homeworld, except for your position. The last bastion against the enemy. They come mercilessly, seemingly without number and without motivation except to destroy. Your once-great nation, now in ruins, reduced to a single world. And even now, that world is being evacuated. The great Sleeper ships, that will hold the millions of people lucky enough to get away, need time to prepare, get everyone aboard, and leave.
You command the last fleet, and your orders are simple: hold off the enemy until the Sleeper ships are ready and can leave, at any cost. The enemy will overwhelm you, you must not only survive, but prevail. Until the great darkness of space consumes once more.
