"LUFTRAUSERS!"
British pilot James Smith (stunning name, I know) shouted this single word over the radio to his team, and a chorus of yessirs flooded his ears in response. There they were, four strange looking planes erupting from a hole in a subramine that emerged from the water. James turned his plane and fired at the submarine, but his bullets hit empty waters. The sub was gone. James swore to himself. The rest of the german planes and boats were retreating, leaving only the oddly shaped planes in their place.
The Luftrausers were things of legend. Strange german technology implanted into the aircraft, creating powerful mechanical mutants of war. They appeared rarely on the battlefield, no one could crack the code of the reasons why they appeared. Sometimes they came when the Germans retreated. Sometimes they arrived when the Germans had already won, pilots capturing mere glimpses of them in their mirrors. Either way, they were here now, and James had no intention of letting these craft kill his men.
He watched as a subsquad of his, (six Spitfires Mk II's) gave chase to a Rauser-craft. The fighters rose gently above and below eachother, firing shots in coordination with eachother when their guns overheated. The Rauser-craft was covered in what looked like veins. Blue veins, to bre precise, bright blue ones that ran to and fro various parts of the plane. The word "HUBBLE" was splayed on one of it's wings. Suddenly, the HUBBLE craft did a sharp vertical turn, it's nose pointing straight into the blue skies above. The Spitfires followed suit. The Hubble took hit after hit, holes being torn in it's hull. James watched from a distance, proudly, as his Spitfires pursued the plane, almost in a conga line. Suddenly, the HUBBLE-craft's engine stopped. It let it's momentum carry it upwards for a half of a second, and then the entire thing turned mid-air to face the oncoming Spitfires. The HUBBLE-craft was facing downwards, but drifting upwards. For a a brief moment, it was frozen in mid-air.
Then a fireball burst from it's guns. A blazing neon fireball erupted downwards, launching the Hubble even farther into the air. The Spitfires strated to turn, but the fireball engulfed them completely. Before he knew it, James' squad was gone. James turned his ACE fighter-craft and locked onto the Hubble, which was now flying away. The battle was still going on around him. James caught glimpses of other Spitfire's being sliced in half by beams. He saw friendly boats below suddenly have gaping holes in them as a Rauser-craft literally erupt from below the ocean's surface, into the bottom of the hull and out the otherside. The four Rauser craft were annihilating everyone in the battalion. James turned away from the chaos. His target was the HUBBLE-craft.
James was an ACE pilot, meaning he got the privilage of piloting an ACE craft, mentioned previously. The ACE craft was larger than any fighter-plane before it, but was incredibly agile and fast. As such, he was gaining on the HUBBLE-craft, who's bullet holes were miraculously healed. James was right on the HUBBLE now, he had it in his sights. He fired a burst of machine gun fire, tearing fresh gaps in it's hull. Just life before, the HUBBLE did a sharp turn towards the sky. James had a plan. The HUBBLE cut it's engines, and began to turn. James, however, rotated his plane quickly to the left, knowing the HUBBLE would do. The HUBBLE fired, narrowly missing him. The HUBBLE realized he was now dealing with an ACE pilot, but too late. James flattened his craft so it's bottom faced the ocean, cut his engines, and let his momentum carry himself towards the HUBBLE.
James and the HUBBLE came equal to eachother, both of them at the arc of their maneuvers. James fired. The HUBBLE, after taking a few shots, exploded into debri. James started up his engines again and watched as the HUBBLE spiralled towards the ocean below.
"See you in hell," He murmed to himself. Suddenly, two more Rausers were on James. Where did they come from? One of them fired some sort of pulsing machine gun with
fiery orbs instead of bullets. The other one followed suit, holding off on firing. James' warning devices beeped. Son of a- James did a flip to attempt and face the enemies. With his ACE fighter craft he could pull of dazzling maneuvers. He kept facing straight ahead, but his plane was moving backwards, over the head of the unnamed Rauser craft. He fired off a few rounds and the Rauser was smoking and retreated. James smiled at his victory, but it quickly vanishes when he saw what was coming his way.
Splayed over the front of the craft was the word "RAMJET". It's shape was a thin tube, with spikes jutting this way in that, creating a spiral pattern. It was heading directly at James. James turned away to escape, and the RAMJET-craft blew past where James was moments ago. It was trying to ram him! James spiralled his craft around so he was going in reverse, facing the RAMJET. The craft cut it's engines, turned to face James, and fired them again. It was coming at James at ridiculous speeds.
It was at that moment James knew he was going to die.

Luftrauser pilot, code-name RAMJET was boosting towards the ACE pilot full throttle. The ACE had no chance. RAMJET smiled as his craft plunged into the ACE, tearing through it and coming out the otherside. The ACE pilot craft, now torn in half, fell towards the ocean.
"Ace pilot is down, comrades!" RAMJET reported in German.
"Well done!" A voice came through. JAWS, our current anti-watercraft Rauser. Suddenly, the battlefield was quiet. No more enemy planes. Reckage of boats with JAWS shaped holes in them poked up from beneath the water, slowly sinking. They won. Hah! Who said being a Luftrauser was suicide! They all cheered.
"How many did you kill?" Asked RAMJET. Three voices came through at once.
"I killed 17 boats," JAWS responded.
"That's awful!" Came another voice. "I got atleast 37 fighter kills,"
"Boats are harder to kill than fighters! Do you know how hard it is to pilot a plane underwater?" That was JAWS.
"It can't be that hard, your plane is designed to go underwater," the voice responded.
"Let's see what the score-board has to say," RAMJET interrupted. All planes were embedded with score trackers to see which Rauser had the best performance.
Sure enough, JAWS was first place. "Hah, see! Told you!"
The voice groaned with mock humilation.
RAMJET was second place, what with killing two ACE pilots in a row. Of course, HUBBLE was last ith 30 points. Six fighter kills at the beginning, then he was killed by the ACE. RAMJET frowned.
"Let's get back to the sub, comrades," as if on que, a dim shadow of a submarine pierced the surface. Home sweet home.

In LUFTRAUSERS, you will play as an elite, secret German airplane division known as the LUFTRAUSERS. You will construct a plane from the choice below, and be sent out on missions with other RAUSERS. Upon constructing your craft, the name will be assigned to you. The name is not only the name of your craft, it is also your new code-name. Until you construct your plane, you will refer to your other squad-mates as their temporary code-names; These will be things like RAUSER PILOT: ALHPA 23-2.
When in battle, you will be able to take advantage of our powerful Luftrauser engines. You will be able to do what no other pilot can do. By turning your engines on and off with a press of a button, you can pull off complicated maneuvers. With your weapons, bodies, and engines, create powerful combinations. Use your weapons in your maneuvers, do unexpected tricks the enemy would never expect. Be original, Rausers.
When on missions, you will be ranked and rewarded for your actions based on the score-board system marked in your crafts. If you are killed, your score will still be recorded. This is simple recognition of your piloting skills. The German people will remember your actions in the Great War. Good luck, Rausers.

RAUSER PARTS
WEAPONS
Machine Gun: A versatile Luftrauser machine-gun. Fires special orb bullets, far more advanced than any enemy machinegun.
Laser: Fires a beam of energy that can slice and pentrate multiple enemies. It might over-heat, and you can't do any fancy turns while firing.
Spread: Mutliple projectiles at once come from this weapon. Hit multiple targets at once. The kick-back is strong, however, so expect your Rauser to shift when firing.
Missiles: No kick-back on this one. Fire up to four homing missiles at once, no questions asked.
Cannon: It has a long recharge rate and knockback, but the pay-off is a massive fireball of plane-engulfing glory.
BODIES:
Original: A versatile Luftrauser body. Good for all situations.
Armor: Bulk up with this body. You'll be a little less maneuverable but be able to take extra hits.
Melee: With this body, you'll be able to tear through enemy planes if you come in contact with them. The tube-shaped body makes it fragile to weapons fire, however.
Nuke: If you die, you'll go on with a blaze of glory. Explode all enemy planes around you with a press of a button. Problem is, you're plane is a bomb.
Bomb: Speaking of bombs, drop some with this body. Take out enemy craft with some good old fashion dumb bombs. A little less maneuverable, though.
ENGINE
Original: A versatile Luftrauser engine. Don't fix what ain't broken, as they say.
Superboost: Blast your way to victory with this powerful engine. However, when it's on, don't expect to be doing any loop-de-loops.
Gungine: Use Rauser bullets to propel yourself. Your flying will be choppy and a little unpredictable, but you'll have a gun for an engine. So that's cool.
Underwater: With this engine, you'll be able to fly underwater unscathed. You'll be slow, however, due to the nature of this engine.
Hover: You won't be able to stall or fall, because you'll be hovering. You wont be able to go very fast, but you can hover anytime you want.
~
You will start this RP in the depths of the Rauser-Submarine, where the Rausers hide. You have just been transferred, and are meeting up with your crewmates. Expect a mission fairly soon.
