They're screwing themselves over and will die out soon if they don't revert back to their old formula. Seriously, Jim Gordon is now Batman, but he uses a robot to help him fight crime. That may temporarily boost purchase numbers due to the shock value but it will piss off the fans of the mystery and near-psychological horror that is the batman mythology. What DC should do is go back to their old formula of producing what their loyal fanbase likes and maybe curtail the print of comics and use that to stay in business rather than trying to keep gaining more numbers by going on a self-destructive burst of universe resets and shifting character dynamics that are just bloody stupid.
