I normally don't go for the weeb games, but YouTube ads finally beat me down enough into trying it and I just gotta say... for a free game, I'm loving it.
The combat is smooth and even more surprising, there is a ton of lore and deep story. I mean shit, there's enough random books to pick up & read that rival any TES game.
The co-op is unfortunately pretty limited, being that you can really only do world bosses or dungeons, but still fun. I actually play as a healer most of the time, which I've never done in any other game.

And yeah, I understand being shocked by the lore. My disbelief when I was exploring Liyue and thought to myself, "What the fuck? A lore intensive mobile game that isn't Fate Grand Order?"
They even hinted at a weekly boss all the way back at the game's launch

It's all the stuff about the disaster at Khaenri'ah and how that ties into practically everything that really caught me. Still don't know the full story, but like every questline reveals more and more about it.

Shit man, will add you. I'm on once in a blue moon. And yeah, I understand being shocked by the lore. My disbelief when I was exploring Liyue and thought to myself, "What the fuck? A lore intensive mobile game that isn't Fate Grand Order?" They even hinted at a weekly boss all the way back at the game's launch The Somersu archon questline also legitimately broke my heart. I won't spoil it in case you haven't gotten that far and while it's ultimately a happy ending, it's bittersweet as fuck. The actual questline is cool though. You basically organize and throw a giant coup against the Arkaydia or whatever, which has been acting as the de-facto tyrannical government. Also, if/when you add me (or anyone else reading this) let me know who you are. I join random groups a lot, and thus get a shitload of random requests haha. People love my Baizhu I guess |

Played since launch where the furthest you could go the very start of Liyue, and then you got the end of Liyue on the next update but then no main story until two or three months later and I'm not even sure if that was all the way to the Abyss Herald. They add main story very slowly so yeah, lots of time to grind especially if you played constantly throughout the first year of the game |

Played since launch where the furthest you could go the very start of Liyue, and then you got the end of Liyue on the next update but then no main story until two or three months later and I'm not even sure if that was all the way to the Abyss Herald. We're coming up on the 3rd year anniversary and they've been releasing regions at a pace of about one per year |
