Anyone here familiar with the Adult Swim show Primal, made by the same guy who made Samurai Jack? (Genndy Tartakovsky)
Brutal and gory ass cartoon about a Neanderthal & a T-Rex on the verge of extinction during the rise of civilization/Homo-Sapiens.
Season 2's finale has me in mixed feelings. And I wanna talk about it but I'm not gonna just blurt out spoilers unless someone else had seen it.
Tim I feel like you would especially like season 2 episode 5; It randomly flashes forward to Victorian era, but comments on our savage origin (Neanderthal) and how that link is still in us and can come out under the right circumstances.

I haven't seen it, but I'll need to check it out. I like a lot of Tartakovsky's other work (especially his Clone Wars stuff), so his involvement has me sold already.

I watched season 1, but it was sort of on-and-off. Really atmospheric, I don't know if that changes up a lot. Very similar to Samurai Jack in a lot of ways.
I've seen some trailers or stray clips of season 2 | Spoiler --> It seems like there is a more advanced society or something? I remember it being about a caveman and his dinosaur (that I think dies in season 1??).
I've been meaning to re-watch it and actually watch it.

Fang is still alive and had 2 children, or really 3, but one of the eggs gets smashed during a fight and you just get to see a tiny dino fetus get stomped on. |
