The nurse comes back in, wheeling in an x-ray. He checks it, and nods. "There seems to have been a cracked rib when you crashed into that lamppost. I assume you both live on your own, seeing as you are both probably college-graduates. Now, the bone will heal, but I must perform a surgery to mesh the cracked rib fragments with eachother again, otherwise, it won't do quickly. I can do it now, or you can have an appointment. However, you'll have to pay an expensive fee if the appointment is later than three days." the nurse asks.

"I don't know. My mom, when she a cracked rib once she just let it heal. It took 2 months, so... What the hell, I guess I'll have to. I do a lot of things, so being 'benched', per se, for two months..." I trail off, considering the nurse should know how to end it.

[Danonymous]

"Well, if you don't know, I can't do anything for you kids. But you will have to lay straight away for the use of the x-Ray." he explains, rather annoyed.

[Sean Max]

"How much will this surgery cost?" I ask one last question before deciding.

[Danonymous]

"Around £930," the nurse answered, "it can be lowered or raised anytime, but if you can't do it now, you can come get it in the next three days as of now for an appointment, anytime later than that, then you have to pay more. Sound good, want to do it now or have an appointment?"

[Sean Max]

"I...I can do it now. I'm already here, so let's do it."

"Alright, can you please wait in the waiting room?" The nurse tells me, "Yeah, sure, and go easy on him." I joked, as I walk out.

The Nurse

"Alright, things will start to hurt, first, I must dampen your skin with water." I say as I dab a wet cotton wool on the patient's chest, which was seemingly red.

[If this nurse doesn't use anesthetics I'll be ticked]

"Okay, I guess."

[Danonymous]

(He is going to bloody use anaesthetic, who doesn't? Imagine a surgery without anaesthetic.)

The Nurse

"Right, I am now going to inject places with anaesthetic, it is going sting, so suck some air in through gritted teeth." I explain, going to the worktop near the door and getting a needle. I went to Tyler and injected four times in different locations, I can see his pained expression, not surprising as I've seen the same expression every day. "Now, comes the hairy part. I am going to remove the layer of skin and reveal the location of the bone, however, it will tickle, if it hurts, tell me." I say to him.

[Sean Max]

"Okay." I say. As if I haven't felt a ton of pain before.

(I have am no medical superior, but I know from experience, this is how they do this shit.)

The Nuuuurse (Whom of which is male)

I get a scalpel and remove the layer of skin and fat on Tyler's chest. I proceed to do this for 3 minutes. The broken bone is clearly visible now, it was a cracked rib on the top-right of his body. "Now, as you can or cannot see," I say to him, fetching a mirror, then show him his own body (Huehuehue), "the rib is quite close to your collarbone and vertebrae, therefore, I must mend it with caution, because one little flick of hand will ruin everything."

"Nothing hurting a lot yet, sir. Proceed." I say.

Nurseman's juicy udders

"Don't call me sir, I do believe I must treat my patients with respect first." I say, as I walk over to a cabinet in search of a somethingmacallit."Now, the bone marrow is soft, so I have to put this special glue on the crack, don't worry, it shouldn't hurt." I say as I apply the translucent glue into the crack. I then rub it along with my gloves. "Alright, now, we're done. But I must, as you obviously know, stitch it up." I say as I get a pair of shears and stitching rope-thingamajig. I begin cutting it to small lengths and tying it around a thin needle.

And then I see it back up,
and then I put a really big bandaid and bandages around his chest.
"There," I say, as he got up and stood up. "now, you mustn't take the bandage off and the bandaid, you must let it heal. You can have a regular checking with me or another medically educated staff here. Take painkillers at least twice a day with water..." I say as I I begin to list down painkiller brands. "If you cannot come to us, then we cannot help get you checked and replaced your band aids and dressings, soooo, you should probably check in weekly." I say.

(You're going back to Murica in 3 days right?)

[Yep.]

"That was very quick. Thank you. Now, how long should I rest to let the glue set up, etcetera?"

[Danonymous]

"Well, it can take as long as it wants, we just want to make sure the skin heals and mends back together, so we can remove the stitchings, however, if you cannot come back here within a week, you can probably go get it checked at another swiftcare clinic, hospital, etc." I answer.

[Sean Max]

"Okay. So would... a week and a half be enough to ensure the bone is fine from the surgery?"

[Danonymous]

"It would heal at around that time, probably a few more days longer, but what's longer to heal is the skin tissue, that's why we are requesting you to come take checkups every week, are you able for weekly checkups?" I ask.

[Sean Max]

"I'm able to."
