My year was pretty stressful. It was basically a year of studying and then a test, with my only reprieve being RPing and reading. I'll be getting the scores from my tests back in mid-January, but I also got good SATs, so I don't know how important my A levels will be.
This coming year will be split in two parts for me: I'll be taking a six-month-ish gap before university when I plan to get a job, and then I'll go to college. For that first part of the year, I want to do a lot of RPing, on Fantasy RP, Everwake and anything else that people here post. I'm going to aim for another 20 pages by the time I start college, but I sincerely hope that I can get much more done by then. I have plans for storylines that I just need to get off the ground - I really just need to get Othan to finish up this bandit thing, and then he'll be the inciting incident for stories with Verous, Alfred, Jonos, Edric, Arelia and Duck's upcoming Eredalian soldier character, if my plans go according to plan. The second half of the year I want to maintain activity in Fantasy RP while integrating myself into college life and that new workload and class schedule and set of expectations for me, though it will probably be more akin to what I've been this past year than what I'll aim to be in the upcoming few months.
Other resolutions that I have are finishing my college-level calculus textbook before college begins, getting a job and maxing out my 401k, being in a D&D group with Tails and the gang that doesn't end in a huge fight and having a social life in real life once I get to college.
I'll be in the process of moving from place to place until mid-February (I'm currently in Zürich, then I'll go to Milan, then I'll tour colleges, then I'll move in with my grandfather, but I've already moved out from Singapore with the intention to never return), but after I'm done moving, my activity should become much more active.
So, how was your past year? What resolutions do you have for next year?
