I just found an interesting channel on YouTube that made a very interesting point about these classic, folkloric characters.
I disagree when he says that there are no fans of King Arthur and of Robin Hood - I myself would like to consider myself one such person, though I'll admit that I haven't seen many of their respective films (more due to lack of opportunity than lack of interest). Aside from that, I'd say that he's fairly accurate in that most people probably don't know much about Robin Hood or King Arthur as their real characters, being more familiar with the parodies. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
