A little while ago, Google Chrome updated its app, and ever since then, it shows your most recent downloads at the bottom of the New Tab page. I haven't been able to turn it off, which is especially annoying considering that I have to stare at whatever I last downloaded until I leave the new tab page.
Well, I've done something I should have done a long time ago. You know what I did? I went straight to Google Image search and I downloaded something I didn't mind looking at all the time. Now, every time I open the Chrome app, I get to stare at ADORABLE KITTENS. This is the best idea I've ever had.
The only flaw is that I have to do this every single time I download something new. But is it really that bad to look at kittens some more? I don't think so.
