What are your New Year's Resolutions? I want, once I get my new fantasy RP up, for it to not die. Inactive slumps for up to a week are acceptable, but if it dies, then I will have failed my resolution. And, if I can get it to go continuously for a year, I think it'll be able to hold onto it's momentum indefinitely, which is something I haven't really had since Land of Ferinox was killed by some guy clogging up the RP with 20 pages of spam. As for real life, I have no idea what my resolution is going to be. "get good grades", or something like that? Take a few strokes off of my golf game? Re-learn the piano? (I spent about two hours on a piano somewhere the other day and managed to teach myself a very simplified version of a Mozart piece, so I think I can do this). Be able to swim a hundred laps again? Get better at chess? Find more opportunities to get back into astronomy (it's hard when you live in a city where the air is routinely so bad that you need a gas mask to stand outside). Maybe I'll try to pick up something new. I still have a day to think it through.

I used to do piano lessons. The biggest obstacle is that I don't have a piano any more.

I don't normally make New Year's resolutions; just resolutions; at whatever time I end up making them. Right now, I have a few. I believe I already told you my most important ones. |

I feel like I mention this like a broken record, but I personally just use a piano synthesia of whatever songs I want to learn, and then it's just a memory game.
As for my resolution though... I want to publish some sort of program, be it an app for my sister's salon, a mod for Skyrim or something, or making an indie game of some sort.
I've been thinking of those old turn-based RP(G)s a lot. I think that could make for an interesting, free mobile game. Maybe manage to add some sort of "CYOA" mode that allows one to DM for another person or group.
However, I feel like it's impossible to get paid from mobile with freemium bullshit, so... Bleh. I also want to do something with AGE eventually, but that's down the line a ways. If I bring AGE to the public, it's going to appear by fucking force; Game, movie, the whole shebang.
