I can't. They're too far back. Even if I did, it's not stalking. The closest I've ever gotten to stalking her was saying the word 'Michigan'. generally speaking, it's a bad idea to roleplay outside of an actual roleplay. especially when people can't tell when you're roleplaying, and especially when you only break character to excuse yourself with an "Oh, well I was just roleplaying!" either commit to it completely, or keep it to yourself. and in your case, I strongly suggest you keep it to yourself. "Yes," I say, sipping the glass of 2004 shiraz as I lean back in my armchair, "I concur completely. It is a terrible thing to roleplay outside of an actual roleplay, despite the hypocrisy of this statement itself." okay, it looks like I need to clarify. types of roleplaying that are acceptable: -roleplaying in roleplaying threads -roleplaying in games -obvious OoC roleplaying (where you're still roleplaying as yourself). see tim's post for example types of roleplay that are bad and annoying: -making your entire presence (under a certain username) an act -when it's unclear whether you're roleplaying or being serious -when the only time you clarify that you're "just roleplaying" is when something goes wrong or someone calls you out -having multiple characters in one person without ever giving a good explanation or sticking to it |
