I feel like this thread is saying that everyone should just leave Bannanachair. It's not really time for that, not yet. I don't think that's what he meant. To the contrary, I was saying that it looks like that's the trajectory we're going on and I was proposing solutions to keep the community intact, whatever site(s) we're on. |

Why the fuck are you trying to keep the community intact? Communities come and go. People within them become friends. Those friendships continue on after the community dies, and sometimes friends reminisce about some of the other shitters within that community. In the end though, nobody really cares and everyone moves on.
It's absolutely pointless and a waste of time to try and keep a community of such different personalities, interests, plans, aspirations, and locations in tact past the death of this forum.

Well, I mean, I agree with most of the things here about staying together. You guys were some of the first real friends I had that i could relate to on things that nobody else at my school would talk about, or even discriminate for. Discord because why not. discord.gg/ZrjwNU |

Well, I mean, I agree with most of the things here about staying together. Discord because why not. discord.gg/ZrjwNUHonestly, I've never been the biggest fan of instant messaging as a means of being in contact with multiple people at once. I like it for one-on-one conversations, but I hate it for group conversations. I tolerate the shoutbox because it's not that fast and because other people seem to really like it, but I tried removing it once and that backfired spectacularly. |
