I forgot to ask this earlier
What's the best float you have ever made or had? With "float" meaning "soda with ice cream in it". Root beer float, for example.
I made a Vernors float with maple ice cream and it was really good.
I want to know what other good combinations people have come up with, because I am curious

I once floated in a large swimming pool for multiple hours. Various people tried to take my raft but I fought them off with a water gun.

That is an impressive float. Not one that I would eat, because that would be weird (and also impossible), but impressive.

Seriously, I'm sorry.), you're making me crave that stuff. Unfortunately, the only float I've ever had was the classic root beer and vanilla ice cream.

Better yet, if you find out a new combination that would taste awesome, do it and then tell me so I can do it too.

I've only drank one float and I hated it. We have it at church every two months or so when we eat there. It was ginger ale with apple juice I think. And the ice cream was sherbet. Honestly, I could do better.

ginger ale, apple juice, and sherbet?
It's no wonder you didn't like it; that doesn't sound like a good combination at all.

I don't know why anyone would include any kind of sherbet in a float, honestly. The texture isn't optimal.
And the apple juice is a weird choice. One of the main characteristics of a float is the foam the soda makes with the ice cream, and adding a non-fizzy drink to it would throw off the consistency and flavor and make less bubbles.

I should've known there was something wrong with it. All the old people at my church drink it.

It's actually that orange and green colored ice cream. But it tastes exactly like sherbet. Well, it depends on what is available I guess.
ill take a picture of it the next time we have it.

Churches generally get the cheapest stuff they can find, so it's usually not good.

I don't even know how you and two thousand posts is even possible. There used to be a system in place wherein you could spend posts as a currency.
