My dad was cleaning out a workshed on Monday, and he found a little mouse nest with one baby still in it. When the shed was being cleaned, the family fled, but the baby hadn't even opened her eyes yet, so she couldn't go too. We brought her home and made a makeshift terrarium thingy and gave her things like milk and apples. Now, today, she has a proper cage and all that, and I think she even made her own nest. She's quite industrious. We named her Chance, as she did survive against pretty weird odds. And, yes, we checked. Chance is a she.

Should have named it Jerry. Every mouse should be named Jerry Jerry is a male name. If you want a good name for a female mouse I recommend Minnie.

This reminds of this one time when I was at a friend's house and I saw that they had a pet pigeon and I asked my friend, "What's his name?"
She replied, "Snake Food."
"Huh? You named your bird Snake Food?"
Then she nodded over to the empty aquarium tank they had in the living room that had a big old snake living in it.

Yep. But is it necessary for a snake to eat a pigeon? Why not a mouse or something? Don't get any funny ideas from that last suggestion
