Boi these are my short stories.
[DROP-OFF]
The battle raged on, bullets blasting past everyone, artillery filling the air with explosions, men screaming in pain as they lay on the sand of the beach, dying. No hope, no reason, no end, it's all mindless battles playing over and over again, wasting precious life, for what? What was the goal? The thoughts boomed in Petar's head as he was crouched behind a pile of sandbags, out of sight, as safe as you could get in the middle of a blitz. The CO said their armour back-up would arrive, but it was taking it's goddamn time. Just as he thought all hope was lost a fleet of Drop-off helicopters buzzed into sight from the ocean, his face lit up with sudden relief, before the enemy battery started to take it's shots over to the unarmed helicopters. Many would crash down into the ocean, their radios blurring out, "MAY DAY." Over and over, the screams of the pilots would buzz over the radio. Thankfully due to the size of the fleet a few managed to break through and drop off the armour.
A fully loaded specialized Titan. Full Metal, it truly was a sight to be treasured, that's if it wasn't shooting at you. As Petar's Titan, Croat, dropped to the ground, letting out a ShockWave as it landed on the sand. Petar stumbled back before charging up to it, the Titan grabbed him by the waist with one hand stuffing him into the control seat before closing the hatch. He let out a sigh of relief before he was banged back into reality by taking a hit by an Anti-Titan launcher. The shield managed to endure most of the hit but it was still knocked back. He had the Pyro build with a custom flame-like weapon, the Uz7. He'd charge up the weapon before unleashing hell onto whatever met the hell fire given out to the resistance. His Titan Radio clicked on, signifying other Titans also made it. " Bos here, " More titans would respond with their call sign, "Lucid also." "Don't forget about me dječak, C3nsoor has arrived." They seemed to be the only left of the BSD battalion. "Croat unleashing hell, feel free to join the fun." He got multiple replies back, all confirming they were assisting. "C3nsoor in place and taking our shots." The sniper would blur out. "This is to easy. Feels like shooting fish in a barrel." Bos would give out a laugh. "My spotter has been set, I see multiple targets, not infantry thou." Lucid their scout said, confused. "Keep firing. If anything big arrives we'll pull back." Petar said cautiously. Bos, their heavy got cocky and started to march forward, "I'm not standing around waiting for them to come for us. I'm going up to them. Push with me brothers." The rest ignored him as they continued to fire upon them, "Men, stop firing, do you hear that?" Lucid held his hand up. They all ceased fire only for the whole field to become deadly quiet. "I don't hear anything..." Bos announced, "Exactly! They retreated! We won!" Croat threw their hands in celebration. "No. No we didn't win, they didn't retreat, they are making way for something big. Very big." They all paused for a moment at the remark of Lucid. Just then thumps could be heard coming their way, just a few more seconds and it could be visible over the mountain they were firing at. "Helvete..." Bos the only Swedish man in the battalion said in complete defeat as they saw a Titan double their size, it moved almost automatically, completely perfect and calculated, it scanned the four Titans that were scattered around the battle field. It raised it's weapon to meet Bos' height, Bos stood completely still, almost accepting his fate.
"Eliminate." The light on the middle of it's body lit up red as the Titan took a battle stance and started to fire at Bos with deadly precision. One clean shot right through the control bay coming out the other, as the bullet hit the sand it blew up like artillery. The dead Bos fell back, un-moving, "Men, you better run, I'll hold the damn bastard back." C3nsoor made himself very clear as he rose his rifle up to take shots at the Titan, but it came to no effect. Croat and Lucid tried to run, but to their surprise the Behemoth was a whole lot faster, dashing in-between them he gripped both of their torsos and raised the two Titans up. "HIS GOT US DAMMIT!" He did have them, but they couldn't do anything do get out from his grip. As fast as a bullet the Behemoth smashed them together, crushing them like tin cans with ease. "NO!" C3nsoor rose up out of his prone position, as he did the Behemoth dropped the two Titans and slowly walked towards him. Lucid was in shock at the scene, he repeatedly smashed his emergency button but it didn't look like back-up would arrive in time. If he ran into the ocean he would be crushed by the pressure if he got deep enough, but if he stayed he would be completely decimated by his Titan. He settled for a middle ground, he'd activate his Anti-Titan mines and attach them to his torso, he'd dash right into the behemoth chest first. The explosives blew up leaving a massive dust cloud and a ringing sound to anyone who heard it. As the sand settled, a figure was still standing. The Titan stood up, undamaged.
