[NAME] He'd glance up at the man. "I believe it is Anteo Mikolov, it has been a long time since someone asked of my name I almost forgot it myself..."


[KINGDOM] He'd take a second before finally answering, "R'lyeh, I believe that is where I belong."

[MAGIC] He wasn't into talking much but he agreed to converse for now, "Basic level one Blood Magic." He didn't sound to proud about it either.


[INVENTORY] As he finished telling the Mage the two men came in asking questions, "The only things noteworthy on me as of now is, My Baselard Dagger, a few roles of cloth and some fruit and water." As he said that he opened his bag to show them his Dagger, it was battle-worn, you could tell it was used before, the handle was wrapped in torn cloth where at the bottom there was in turning Metal piece, you could also see some dried up blood stains across the edges and some even on the point. (Don't know how to describe it much, just look up Baselard dagger)


[APPEARANCE] He'd nod at them before turning to the boy to describe himself, "I'm quite stocky build wise, last time I checked my height I was about 6'2, I haven't checked lately so it may have changed. As for my facial features? I have Amber eyes, not you'll know what that colour looks like, Short messy hair, a Cow's lick on my left side making my hair quite uneven. Clean shave across my neck. All I'm wearing currently is a metal plating a cross my neck with steel Pauldrons on my neck followed by some chain armour down my arm and a leather glove that goes to my elbow. As for my torso, I have a red robe itched under the neck plating with a belt by my waist, the full robe reaches down to my ankles. I'm wearing standard leather pants with knee high leather boots." He'd take in a quick gasp of air after making suck a long statement.


[GOAL] "My goal?" He was quite surprised by the question, "I never really thought of one" He'd bow his head before raising it up again, "Maybe just to make a name, do something instead of lying around feeling useless. Also to progress through the levels of my magic." He seemed quite depressed by the lack of thought he put towards this venture.



Their questions asked and answered, the mercenaries returned to their earlier conversations and discussions as everyone returned to walking. You quickly find out that you're not in the "fold" enough to be brought into general conversations, but that didn't seem to bother you much. That isn't to say members of the troop didn't come up to and make an effort to converse, of course. A few of members of the group namely an archer in a brown cloak, who attempts to make simple small talk, and another man who seemed to be unnervingly into the occult. He, along with the wizard, who also seemed to have an interest in the occult, but not nearly as much so as the other man, asked you if there was any particular reason you were heading to R'lyeh.

He'd give a quick stare, "Just to learn if I'm entirely honest. That is about it, why are you all going if I may ask."

The first man answers you by talking about his desire to find out about the R'lyeh, and their practices. "They've been sort of legendary for some time, with some people convinced they don't even exist." he explains "But I hear, from some reliable Atlantian sources, that they definitely exist, and that they some sort of island fortress far out into the dark sea. I want to go there and study them."

The mage tells a slightly different story.

"See that lad over there?" The mage asks, pointing to the man eccentric lad who had just finished talking to you. "He's a nutcase, but a nutcase with coin. He hired us to help bring him to the R'lyeh island fortress. Any old mage will tell you that the R'lyeh exist, sure as there are demons, but they're an odd sort, that, from I've heard, don't take too kindly to anyone not of their own kind. It's a dangerous road he's walking, and we have every intention of taking his coin and just dropping him off on that accursed island."

[Daffybebe]

"But why would you just abandon him? What gave him the label of nutcase?" He'd be confused by what the Mage was trying to say about the other man

"He wants to stay and study the R'lyeh. Try to "communicate" with them, or something. Those things don't "communicate", they enslave. The man who taught me magic was still around when those things first came to earth. They fell off a meteor or something, and enslaved half of Atlantis. They have no respect for any creatures but themselves, and would take over the whole world if they were given the chance. No one has stepped foot on that island and returned to tell the tale, that I promise you. We're gonna drive up real close to that gods forsaken place, dump him off, and then high tail it. I'd advice you to join us in doing so, unless you're real damn confident in not getting enslaved yourself."

[Daffybebe]

He'd contemplate staying on the island on not before deciding to ask a question, "Once you do dump him, where will you go from there?" And have you ever seen these creatures in real life?"

"We'll probably move on to another town and look for more work, such is the life of a simple mercenary troop. As for me, no, I've never seen one of those, er... Ilithids, I think the scholars called them, or something, but I have enough contacts to know how they operate. Crazy creatures, they are. The rare scout or researcher that makes it back reports that they sent priests to an alter to chant incantations in their language that could drive a man to madness. They try to summon these horrific creatures from another realm, and the name 'Kithlin' is brought up a lot. We figure it's some ancient beast, or their god, or both."

[Daffybebe]

"Sounds horrific, but it would be awesome to see one of these beasts. And to slay one would be a bigger feat." He'd playfully flicker his hair out of his eyes out of shear boredom.

"If you wanna try to kill one of those things, I wont stop you, and I'm sure that researcher would pay good money for a body guard on that gods forsaken island, but make sure you weigh the price of your life before you try to take any shots at gold or glory."

[Daffybebe]

"I'd rather kill a beast then lay around waiting for us to walk into someone who needs our help, this walk has been dead boring with nothing going on ever."

"Come now, lad. Do you think wandering around and helping people is all we do? We're mercenaries, soldiers for hire! This is just a quick in between job on our to our next contractor. The ascension wars are a boon for our kind, you see. Constant strife and wars between gods is fantastic for business. You might consider signing on with us sometime. However, I won't stop you if heading to R'lyeh is what you really want, and I'll wish you a theifs luck, friend."
