Maybe he was trying to say you were really attractive, but his dyslexia and blatant stupidity got in the way of it? Dex is the last person I want calling my girlfriend "really attractive", so let's just assume he's calling her an angry bitch. backstabbing*

Guess you're right @lego, he has a very anime view of women. He think purring is an edgy goth character because she doesn't like him.

I still don't understand what the goths have to do with anything here; the sims was a game created in the 21st century (I think) and the Ostrogoths and Visigoths lost their kingdoms in the 6th and 8th centuries respectively.

The word "goth" isn't used these days to mean the same thing as it was however many years ago. If you googled the definition of the term and still think the word only applies to "a member of a Germanic people that invaded the Roman Empire from the east between the 3rd and 5th centuries," then I'm supposing you didn't pay attention to the second or third definitions. Really, Tim, with google at your hand and your great love for research, I'd have thought you'd at least be competent enough to read past the first definition of any given word. This is, after all, not the first time something like this has happened.

Tim only half fits the definition of stupid. Sure, he lacks a bit of common sense, but he's not unintelligent.

For instance, Dex could be describing you as an architectural style or a genre of horror novels, yet I find it somehow more likely that someone is being compared to a peoplegroup than a form of architecture. I just performed a google search and apparently you're also a genre of post-punk rock music according to Dex; is that what he might mean?

Try again, but this time, click the button to reveal the entire list of definitions. In addition, I'd also like to reccomend something to you. You seem to get confused about definitions of words and which one the writer means quite often. Might I suggest making use of the convenient tool called Google for such occasions? You apparently only rely on your prior knowledge, which, no matter how vast it may get, isn't always enough. Upon searching the definition, you may find new definitions of the word that you never knew before. If nothing else, you can expand your knowledge so you're ready for the next time you encounter that word. I personally use the dictionary function on Google quite often. Usually, it's to make sure I'm using the correct word (In fact, I used it just now to make sure I was using the word "function" correctly), but what I've reccomended to you has the same sort of usefulness that I think you would benifit from.

Ordinarily I'd've thought that three (now four) definitions of a single word would be more than enough to determine it's definition from context, but clearly this time I was incorrect. Now that I've done as you requested, it does make a tad bit more sense within the context.

You'd be surprised by how many definitions one word can have.
