This completely turned into a Fallout discussion/bitch-fest, which I am completely cool with, haha.
Going back to what you said about being various faction leaders; Did you find all of their quest-lines too closely knit and similar? The MM are my favorite, just in an RP sense of actually forming a milita society, but they do so little to actually make that true. (MM propaganda mods for my settlements helps. And I actually outfit settlers by armor and bandana to signify their rank and weaponry, haha, before mods at least. Afterwards they all match in complete MM attire, like a real goddamn army.)
Even just a few quests of actually leading skirmishes would be nice, rather than just the final raid on the Institute, while the rest of the game you're stuck solo saying "I AM the Minutemen!" Why not a series leading to toppling the Gunners and taking back Quincy, for example?
And the Brotherhood... They were my first choice, just because of fond FO3 memories. But now, they are just fucking assholes only worth joining for free power armor.(Are there even any NV references in 4, or no? I think I've seen one of Ulysses's 'safe zone' symbols at a settlement before, but that would literally be it.)
And while mentioning the Minutemen being my primary faction choice... I'm gonna take you on a tour of our capital; Starlight City (Not to be confused with The Castle/Bastion, being our military hub. Also note; zero mods up until I added minor touches, like posters and mannequins.)
Only my front camera works... Sorry for shit quality.

Image descriptions, in order;
1) City entrance, guard tower on the left side of the image. Smaller tower hidden by billboard.
2) Just inside the actual walls, still outside the actual city complex. I refer to it as the 'Farm district'
3) View from the tower in image 1), Trader's Alley on the left, common houses in the middle and right. Small park area in the center canopy-like area.
4) A view down Trader's Alley, shops with living quarters on the second floor.
5) Comic book shop glance through the window, because I'm a fucking nerd.
6) Clothing shop, really emphasizes how helpful/nice having mannequins was. (There's 8 of them in there)
7) Ahh, The Drunken Bannermen. Each city has a similarly but uniquly named and designed bar. Looks busy from the outside.
8) Went up to the second floor and wtf, is this Ladies' Night? Weird.
9) & 10) Did you think any of those houses were empty, or even half assed? Nope, I have 30+ people here, and they need to be comfortable, dammit!
I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed of how much time I put into this, and other sites...
