Andi doesn't even look back when walking away. Oh well. You could stick around at the back of the crowd, where you can see the giant projector screens displaying two of The Messengers, "EyeZ" & Diana who are putting one a very dramatic show; lots of lights and people fainting when they make eye contact with each the beauty queen herself.

I might as well stay towards the back.. what's the difference of seeing these people on screen and up close with my own eyes? The latter requires much more effort, more than I'm currently willing to contribute to going through the swathe that is the swooning crowd.

Even at the back the atmosphere is still thick, you spot a two girls crying from sheer happiness and another man has fainted. It feels like you're in some lucid dream, you're perfectly aware that this wouldn't happen at any other concert in the world but everyone seems to treating this as normal, in fact they're supporting each other through it. Strangers holding hands, dancing together, singing along to the songs. Bizzare.

I fold my arms, feeling out of my body but at the same time not the same euphoria everyone else seems to be experiencing. I face the stage, paying attention to the screen, trying to blot out all the craziness of the people around me.

The more you focus the more you realise that the woman, Diana, is singing as well, her microphone is turned down so the rapper dude can perform over her, but she's still singing. You can't pin point words but you can tell Diana's singing about how lonely her existence is, the pain of being being seen and not heard. Whenever you try to focus more her voice becomes lost into the endless noise of the crowd, like a breeze being engulfed like a hurricane.

I do try and listen to her lyrics, hoping to find some kind of depth in this whole thing other than fan service, but obviously, to my disappointment, I cannot. Despite this I do continue to look at her on the screen, so as to keep her in my mind and not forget about her.

You focus on her face, the way her eyes catch the camera, sparkling with what may be tears for a few seconds before she's singing and dancing on stage again. Then, rather suddenly the stage plummets to darkness as both she & EyeZ walk to the front of the stage and the music fades. Illuminated by a single spot light they bow twice.
"Thank you" She says into her microphone, German accent noticeable. "I love you all. Thank you for being here"
Even though the rational part of your brain tells you it's silly, you feel like she's speaking to you.

Was.. was she talking to me? I tap on the shoulder of the nearest bystander and ask them a question, "Hey, before they got off did you hear Diana say anything?" This did have a large chance of making me looking like a dumb ass, but it is a question that is burning at the moment.

"I don't know dude" He slurs, giving you a drunken pat on the shoulder. "I was looking her tits!" The group around him laughs and even though it isn't an ideal response it gives the slightest bit of hope, despite your logical side telling you that it's highly improbable.

I frown at this response but it does help.. still, those idiots probably just didn't hear her say that. They were, after all, busy with.. well.. other things. But still that nagging thought.. maybe I should try and get in contact with her.

You briefly think about her social media for a few seconds then stop in your tracks as you see the next act appear onstage in a ball of fire. People around you start screaming, possibly because they're terrified or maybe they're in awe, but now you can't drag your eyes away from the stage as the fiery silhouette of a man begins to form, the flames condensing.

I stare at it, my mind going blank. There were promises of miracles, and it seems that they were starting to deliver. Then again, could this be some complex stage 'magic', such as a flame retardant clothing and some fire mechanism under the stage? No one else seemed to be thinking this out though.. even as I'm trying to figure it out my mind is rattling from the noise around me.

You feel the air around you becoming noticeably hotter as the crowd starts to jostle around, indirectly pushing you closer and closer towards the stage as the burning dude raises his palms to the audience.
"WHO HERE IS WORTHY?" The man challenges and the crowd roars in response as music begins to play, a fast electronica tempo that makes the crowd even more restless.

I try and let the swathe of people pass by me, not quite wanting to get right up to the stage. Of course, this is to no avail. My adrenaline is indeed pumping a bit more than prior; I mean how could it not with all of this happening? Upon the asking of his question, I instinctively try and avoid eye contact to the point of looking down at my shoes. Black and white checkerboard vans.. truly a classic.

Without much thought the crowd follow around you, steadily pushing you backwards with mild ferocity. Your own breathing is loud in your ears now but you can also hear the voice of another woman riling the crowd up even more to some dubstep beat and when the bass drops all hell breaks loose again. In someways it's completely different to the last performance which was delivered with an air of class and power, this feels like your average summer festival apart from the flaming man doing backflips off the stage and the woman DJing with snake eyes.

Oh. I thought he'd specifically pick someone out of the crowd.. maybe I should try and not take things so literal? I look around, and try and get in the mood that everyone else is; that is, being apart of the party. I can't though.. for whatever reason this whole thing just seems a bit.. well.. much.

The more you watch, the more you scrutinise, you're beginning to come to the realisation that while these people hold a certain amount of power they're allot more show than actual talk. Hmmmm, you can take a step back if you want, get some water or just get out of the crowd until this dies down.

Interesting.. I guess this whole thing is really just to show they're friends to the people..? Yeah. A water break sounds nice.

It takes roughly ten minutes of apologetic shoving to break away from the crowd and to locate a public tap. Got a bottle on you?

I.. don't. I guess I'll have to settle with the ten dollar tap water.

Luckily, not too far from where you're standing there's a group of crates marked water-- a rather bored looking woman is selling bottles of the stuff at a rather slow rate.

"Awright" She nods and roughly shoves a bottle into your hands before holding out her own for your money.
