More just an acquisition of interest for something I may do next week.
Also, would anyone like to use mics? No video or anything (unless you want to), just our beautiful voices meshing together to make some shitty story.

Which edition? Is it 4e? if so, I'll pass. (I'd be willing to give 5e a try tho)

I can't use a microphone, though if we just type as we usually do I'd have no qualms.

Would it be awkward to say that I have a small speech impediment and its actually easier to read my typed words than hear my spoken ones?

I actually just realised I have enough money to buy Storm King's Thunder off the Roll20 marketplace. Should I?

I'll buy it, because I'm new to 5e, and because of other thing I have to do; having a completely premade adventure with tokens, battle-maps, and even dynamic lighting would really let me add to my revision time for school and the like, and it the only thing I have to do is get some level 1 players, make tokens for said players and we can play.

Please tell me you aren't one of those '3.5/Pathfinder is the best edition!' kinda people? Nah, I just feel like 5e has more of of a dice rolling aspect than a roleplay aspect. A dice aspect is still a necessity, it makes it so you can't do everything perfectly all the time. I don't know the rules to Pathfinder either.

I hear it's just a ripoff. I dunno much about it, but I think there's about as much difference between it and 3.5 as 3.5 is different from 5e. They're very similar. And I stand by my statement. 3.5 diehards need to get out there and try new things. And I also stand by my statement that 4e is not bad or flawed in any way, just different from what 3.5 diehards like and are used to.

I'm still new to DnD, so um, what, exactly, is wrong with 4e?

I don't understand 2nd edition much, but I have interacted with in some form all of 3, 3.5, 4, and 5e. Heck, I'm making a 5e campaign based off a modified 3.5 game.
