Now, Life, since you have been in this world for quite a bit I desire to know exactly what you want me to call you!
"I'd like to be called Valente Sanna."
Right, I heard of some bullock with the same name that got his head chopped off wandering through the woods! Now, give me a description of yourself.
"How awful! Well..I think I've got olive skin. And I'm a little tall, but not much more than the average height..whatever that is. My body might as well be a board, it's a little stiff." their explanation was interjected with a wavery laugh. "Oh! I've got brown eyes, too. My face is heart shaped, and I've got this hooked nose. And thick eyebrows, too. Some freckles. My hair's dark brown, it ends around the base of my neck. Very wavy, and a bit course. Oh, did I mention that I'm a girl? Might want to mention that, yea. I wear a black, long sleeved shirt and trousers. And an olive green tunic with a black belt at the waist. And slip on shoes."
Magnificent! Now, to experience the full thrill of life err.. life you must pick one of the most more... dangerous? Thoughtless? Careless? Whatever the word may be, professions.
I'm sure a numbskull like you would die just scything wheat for your entire life, but that wouldn't be interesting now, would it? (pick yer profession ex. bandit, soldier, adventurer, w/e. you can change professions throughout the RP.)
"A numbskull, huh. And to answer your question, I want to become a medic, travel through different places, you know."
A job like that? That can't lead to even the smallest of satisfaction in your sex life. Ohohoho! Tell me, how is your sex life? And the rest of your life? Got any friends that I could call on if I feel lonely in the night? (short bio)
The person makes their voice unnaturally low, as if for comedic effect. "Oh, I can get with six gals in one night with some proper smooth talking," they laughed again, as if they couldn't keep it in. Then, their voice shifted back to conversational.
"Well, I'm the oldest kid in my family. My little brothers are three and five years younger than me. We all grew up in this coastal city- big on trade, we've got this huge harbor. Some big markets and libraries and universities sprung up in the downtown area as a result, since a lot of conventions were held there. Hell, my father held a job at one of the bigger colleges, just transcribing texts and gathering documents for the library and professors. He used to take me to attend lectures when I was small. I actually began taking anatomy courses a few years later. The science departments had grown big enough for local government to de-criminalize post-mortem dissections and autopsies...under very strict circumstances, of course. They're still taking their sweet time merging the magical and scientific aspects in medical courses. Part of the reason why I'm traveling, actually. Just to broaden my horizons. Wow, my brothers are gonna start studying soon! I'm almost CERTAIN Leo's gonna look into older forms of magic. Thermon..I can't imagine him getting all that into schooling, but I'm interested to see how it turns out...Oh, I'm getting off topic, sorry about that! Well, that's me. I'm Valente."

The Confederacy of Freduleeia sure was an interesting place to be in 1575, blessed be the year of Yulesia, the Goddess of Life. Freduleeia has come across many problems, ones that do spring up when four large to medium states and an unmanageable amount of mini-states vying for territory and dominance are supposed to be ruled under one weak central government. You and your family grew up in the state-city (but also member of the Confederacy) that is Brutonnia, a metropolis of a city spanning the length of some small nations on the continent of Pyre. You and your family lived in the coastal district, Setal, which encompassed a large amount of shipping. Further inland was a more scholarly area, away from the flood of pubs and brothels that are destined to spring up along the coastline of a city. Brutonnia is the only state within Freduleeia with a large amount of coastline, all the others being landlocked, with the singular exception of the eastern bordering Yteria, which has a single city on the coastline.
You haven't been traveling for a ridiculous amount of time; it's been about two months since you left home. Following much trudging through the seemingly never ending city state that might as will just be called a nation of Brutonnia. You sometimes wonder how such a place could have been founded and maintained in the first place; a lot of magic and general coincidence is the verdict of most people upon this societal phenomenon. Two months of traveling, stopping by various sectors of the city and catching up with some academia friends, has brought you to Gurtel, name of the belt of surrounding settlements around Brutonnia. Some of the nation's city is grown here while a majority of it is imported from the more open sections of Freduleeia. Due to this, large amounts of the settlements are just small farming communities.
Following no general guide, you wound up in Drewton, a community within south eastern Gurtel, a section which is not too wide. Just a few dozen kilometers southward is Grueetalia, one of the larger nations within the Confederacy of Freduleeia who takes proud in its mix of clockwork and magic run machinery. Drewton is just about as drab as it can get; the center dirt road through downtown has a host of hastily put up, connecting buildings running along the short road. There appears to be a bank, saloon, general store, brothel, a small jail, and an assortment of large and small buildings you assume are the homes of the workers and business owners. Walking down the center of the road, you see a man on a horse galloping down it in your direction. Once he gets close enough, you see he's a half elf with extremely short blond hair, green eyes, refined clothing, and a golden star pinned on his vest. Once he gets to you he stops and spits to the side, glaring down at you, "Greetings, madam."
