The serpent leads you deep into the woods. The further in you go, the more tree houses you see, until eventually you come to another large clearing. All the trees surrounding it contain wooden huts and houses, and rope bridges connect everything together. In the middle of the clearing is a grand wooden palace. Many ornate designs are carved into the sides, displaying anything from monkeys and men, to the serpents themselves. One particularly large design seems to display monkeys gathering around a serpent, and rays of light shooting from the snake into the heads of the monkeys.

Xochitl is in awe. These forest structures are so beautiful, so detailed. What he likes the most was the palace, with its intricate designs and displayed scenes. But what is depicted on the walls unnerved him. He tugs on the cloth of the serpent creature. "Excuse me, sir, but what is happening in that carving?" He fears he'll be zapped like those monkeys.

The serpent stops and looks at the design.
"That, dear skeleton, is a depiction of the naga's gift. We gave these primates the gift of higher intelligence, and that is their drawing of it."
