Fuck. I know my family's prepared and stuff in case the earthquake DOES happen, but if the house ends up collapsing on me, I'll be waiting for you guys upstairs. Please wish me luck and mourn if I don't go online for more than a week.

Only ever experienced one earthquake in my life. (Good ol' Indiana being too dull even for natural disasters to visit.) Don't sleep under any shelves, that's my advice.
Also, no one here is going upstairs, silly. Satan had to add a tenth ring just for the RP community.

Ooh, I'm spooked. BTW, earthquake could happen today or days later, so I'll be on the lookout for any earthquakes in case there is one.

I live in California.
Earthquakes are a threat here in the Bay Area. I'm just as nervous as you are

And I live in Michigan. I just have to worry about blizzards, tornadoes, storms, extreme heat, earthquakes, and subzero temperatures.

Same here. Almost directly next to my hometown is a fault line, so we always live under such a risk. I've been in one before. 3.2 magnitude.

That's why you don't live in Cali.
tbh there's mild earthquakes nearly every week there.

If you'll be waiting for us all upstairs you'll be all alone for a while because most of us are going to go downstairs I think.

Maybe you live in an area not that close to the fault. But there definitely are.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), there are approximately fifty earthquakes per day internationally. According to the Californian Department of Conservation, there are about thirty-five earthquakes a day. So it's not that big of a deal to Californians. Sure it's scary but the state's government has garnered up plenty of contingency plans in the case of an earthquake of any magnitude. Now I don't know where Marc lives (country/province wise) but if he lives anywhere in the United States that isn't California, he's probably safe.

Never dealt with a earthquake although I have had to deal with 3-4 hurricanes including one time when we lost power for a day.
