Of course the Slydavians their army is the largest in the system! In exchange for a little wealth they could allow us to expand to other worlds. Let's send them a short letter. " Dear Slydavians, we the Vepini of the Capua Republic want to wish you a good day and suggest a proposal. What if in in exchange for 10% of our taxes, you protect us in a essence we will swear featly to your empire." so you know that he has less than 3 dozen ships at his homeworld, and probably less than 4 ships at each other world he has, rite? Meanwhile Dex and I have each pushed out two fleets of 600 and 372 ships respectively. Yeah imo Vam you could increase your pop and military pop a lot if you want. See other CSes for reference.

The Foraiz Federation at Peace Clakik observed the world from orbit, transferring from the Lurker in command of the squadron to an Adapter, which was able to land on the surface. Clakik was equipped with translator devices and a neural inhibitor, should circumstances arise where it need the device, and had a contingent of drones with it, each clad in armor, their plasma plates unactivated. Clakik did not expect them to be unless something went wrong. But it was always better to be prepared. Work would not be saved and progress would be lost if a Prime decided to take Clakik as a snack one day. The Adapter detached from the Lurker, carrying Clakik to the surface of the planet they now orbited. The Shri squadron had entered Darkspace after translating the coordinates the aliens had given it, and had arrived a few minutes after. The alien's FTL drives were better than the Shri's, at least for the moment. The readings that the Tunnelers had gotten earlier, had been highly interesting. Clakik was excited to learn what these aliens looked like and how their ships worked. The Foraiz Federation at War (ah, we shall see who gets the last laugh. it may decide the course of this war. if peace negotiations fail and our respective space empires choose not to forget about this incident.) The Shri formation did not fracture. The energy buildup in the alien ships was detectable, with the Tunnelers scouting slightly ahead for the fleet and sending powerful active sensor pulses every few seconds, and though the Shri did not know where exactly the lasers would be aimed, they knew how to combat beam lasers as well as pulse lasers. The Shri's energy-resistant armor provided them protection from the most common weapon in the stars, making up for their lack of shields by making each ship independently protected, and giving those ships more energy to fire weapons and drive engines with. So as the lasers fired, the Shri unleashed their own plasma volley upon the ships not building energy, expecting the alien ships to burn their energy reserves in sixty seconds, as some races that had delved into beam technology had managed.
The ships in the initial blast were caught hard, and the ships next to them also caught hard as their momentum carried them into the beam. But though Tunnelers were melted into mere scrap at the touch of the powerful beam, the energy-resistant plating held on just long enough for momentum to carry the Shri ships through. A third ship's momentum passed it through the beam, and then the Shri engines fired, accelerating them out of the path of the beam. Lurhkikakchin was surprised, when the beam ended just over five seconds after it had begun. These aliens, perhaps, had not delved deeper into beam technology and were just scratching the surface of it.
Plasma weapons were cheap on energy reserves to fire, cheaper even than pulse lasers if those pulse lasers wanted any power, and did much more damage, ionizing and disabling shields on impact, and burning through armor nearly as soon as it hit it. While it was less effective against shields, it had about the same effect on them as it did on the Shri's own energy-resistant armor, burning slowly as its energy was counteracted. And with the abundance of shields among starfaring races, once the shields were breached, nothing could save the delicate hulls of enemy ships from succumbing to gaping holes as plasma breached it and burned electronics and crew members alike to dismembered particles floating in the void.
By the time the Shri had reformed from the laser strike, some in delicate positions behind other ships, another volley was unleashed, all able guns from the devastating, yet slower heavy plasma cannons, to the average medium plasma guns, to the smaller and more accurate plasma turrets. The first volley wouldn't breach the alien's shields, the second would only breach those that were hit multiple times, and the third would follow, downing the shields of some and burning through the hulls of the unlucky. The Shri were outnumbered, but their plasma weapons had won many battles for them. Should the aliens advance, their plasma fire would only get more accurate and retain more of its energy when it made contact.
The Shri had more tactics to meet these aliens with. Lurhkikakchin would not reveal these yet though, perhaps not ever. Raid Cluster Trak Liklatz did not need to win this battle; it merely needed to survive. Something the Shri excelled at.
(I'll set a timeline for Shri reinforcements. The Tunnelers will arrive at Shri world(s) after Dex's post, a larger Cluster will be readied after my post, then the Cluster will travel through Dex's post, my post, and Dex's next post, to arrive in 3 turns of fighting. If you want Dex, you can set a similar timeline to the peace relations section receiving word that there's a fight going on, and then more interesting things might happen.)
(Also, the strength of the Shri force(s) arriving will depend on how this battle goes. If the Raid Cluster does really well, multiple Clusters will arrive, with planetary invasion preparations to devastate Dex's fleet and begin the siege and conquest of Slydavia. If the Raid Cluster does poorly, it'll be one larger Cluster, probably enough to cause Dex's fleet a bad time, but they'll have to send word back to get invasion preparations underway, which could take some time, in which case Dex could respond with a larger fleet of his own, escalating the conflict.)

The Foraiz command ship ordered several ships to focus their resources on FTL and to escape to warn the capital of their plight. They ordered them to ask the capital to send 20 large ships, a very hefty expense but surely one worth it. (They will arrive at Foraiz capital in 4 turns unless you try to destroy them. Large Avax ships are pretty much like your consumer ships LNG except bigger.)The command ship recognized the sensor readings as plasma and soon focused on adding resources to the shields, these plasma volleys must not destroy them.
The command ship ordered 80% of their ships to convert their laser weapons into plasma weapons, it would take a couple of minutes but it would be worth it. The 19% that didn't were ordered to add most of their resources to their shields and block the plasma volley.(This means their shields will hold against plasma for at least 7 volleys but their weapons or FTL wouldn't be able to work, take that LNG.)
The planet under attack had set up a channel and the Avax were curious while really scared. These Avax did not have the brave personality trait but they put on their translator and sent a message to this planet "We will not do anything to harm you as long as you help fight these Shri".

Internal Affairs Evacuation of Dyodoras has begun, however only the strategic artillery and flak cannons will remain. The first Minister received the reply from his broadcast, and sent out another one. "We're gonna fight the good fight until we all die. I'm patching in the leaders of my military. This is Secretary Mcgan of the Navy. If you draw the larger Shri ships in, we can blast them to pieces with our missiles and installments. The other leaders advise you do the same. We have some very powerful artillery and aircraft, just lead them in and we'll open fire. Be careful, there's really bad weather." The broadcast ended there. Military Affairs Again, everyone and everything is on very high alert. Trucks bring in anti aircraft shells and Fusion Energy Cores for the flak guns and laser installments and boats. Airplanes are on standby. Secretly, train bound railguns are taken out of their silos on every province. Space Nduh, nothing.

I notice that my liege is invading the puny Foriaz Federation, I'll send out our current ships along side with some basic infantrymen, I'll tell them to follow the Shri into battle and make sure to claim a small but fertile piece of land for us to trade and mine from.
Aside from that we should deal with our citizens who claim we're "corrupt" by firstly killing the uppity ones thinking about revolution, they need to realize that the Republic is good for all of us, and if they want power then should run for president.
Assuming we don't kill them first.
Check on those eight ships, they will be most useful in expanding our republic to the outer rims of the Milky Way and possibly even return to Vepin

(Huh...Seeing as though there are a shit ton of paragraphs to read usually, it might be easier if we put bold text at the end of each paragraph to signify who needs to do what, or react to what. Thoughts on this?)
[Jutalia]
The crew landing in Jutalia exited the landing craft, their environment suits combating the thick blizzard that rocketed past them at wind speeds of over 120mph. Their interest in the planet: Its thermal energy, which had become a huge market in the last decade. Jutalia is different, though, because of what is kept inside of its core.
The crew had estimated the location of the core-energy extraction facility to be at an exact coordinate, but as they trudged on through the raging snow they did not know if they had miscalculated or screwed up. Finally, however, they met a cold, unremarkable piece of square metal, which signified the underground base beneath them. After hacking away a sheet of stone-cold ice, a keypad was uncovered, where once again a pick was used to un-jam the protective slide over the keypad. After this tedious work one of the men pulled out a case, which inside held a protected, 30-digit code. After carefully inputting each digit the keypad slide closed abruptly, and the metal piece opened up, showing a room similar to an airlock.
[Phyrexia]
Confirmed reports tell of some outer planets illegally trading with foreign human merchants, and the council debates on what punishment or restriction should be appropriate. The discussion quickly escalates, however, mainly due to the foggy era of Phyrexian politics in which the long-held ideal of isolationism is being combated constantly.
Work continues on a better FTL drive, but most are not sure if it will be successful. The science and engineering field of FTL drive research has been quite stagnant recently.

The Troubles: Part TwoFull SwingThe City of Jacinto is bombarded from orbit.
The Battle of Yah-veen left the Senate unsure of itself. Ferrum politicians had, unlike the Yuuzhan Vong, been open about their involvement in the conflict over Yah-veen. General Hoffset himself kept his ships anchored at his homeworld of Onderon while the political chaos began to ensue. Yuuzhan representatives, most notably Karliah, created a vast rhetorical attack on the Ferrum Presidency. Support for Paolo tanked. As a result, he hired Arrhen Sparrow to investigate the construction of the fleet. Sparrow's time was short: an impeachment vote would ensue the following month.
Sparrow flew to Onderon, where the situation was almost hot. A planetary blockade had ensued, the Interplanetary Defense Brigade surrounding every StarGate, with the YV fleet grounded in the city of Jacinto. Getting through the blockade was hardly a challenge for Sparrow, a federally sponsored investigator. The more difficult part was entering the city of Jacinto, where much of the YV ground force was stationed. Martial law had effectively been implemented there- soldiers on every street, every landing zone blocked off, et cetera. Fortunately, this had a negative effect on the locals' opinions of the Yuuzhan Vong. A citizen who'd been drafted helped Arrhen land in a domestic forum without drawing notice. From there, Sparrow infiltrated the Jacinto military base and, with computer spikes, hacked into the system and the Insurrection's audit logs. The buyer, he found, was a Yuuzhan Vong politician named Raleigh Mortimer. The data was downloaded to a 64-gigabyte flash drive.
Exiting the military base, Sparrow finally drew attention. He was chased by an entire squadron, and within minutes the entire military garrison knew of his presence. Fortunately, he was able to find his ship, board it, and fly off as a citizen's militia suddenly erupted onto the scene. Several YV fighters flew after Arrhen's ship, managing to do damage before it left orbit- prompting the IDB to let Hell loose on the planet. As the bombardment began, the YV struggled to create damage control. Citizens and soldiers were evacuated to underground bunkers as the city above was pummeled.
Sparrow arrived back in Frostaria just a day before the impeachment vote. He went to numerous YV politicians who'd contacted him, and within hours of arriving ended up in a gunfight outside Mortimer's penthouse. After dispatching several guards and thugs, Sparrow broke into the penthouse and extracted Mortimer, who after speaking with Sparrow agreed to speak before the Senate.
On the day of the impeachment vote, Sparrow gave a short speech about YV funding of the militia, disturbing the peace and instigating conflict, then went over the Onderon situation (the orbital bombardments were scheduled to stop permanently one week from this day), discussing the oppression of Onderonian peoples and capitalizing on the military beachhead of Jacinto. After his speech, Raleigh Mortimer took the center platform and addressed the Senate.
"Senators. Representatives. President Paolo. I have come here today to state my continued endorsement of Yuuzhan Vong ideals, of our right to a re-vote, and of the necessity of preventing coalitions such as the Ferrum one, but also to withdraw all support of our current representative, Solomon Karliah. You will notice he appears today in hologram, not in person. This is because he was notified of my alignment with the pacifists within out Party.
I do believe that the Ferrum Presidency contributed to this conflict considerably. That, however, is a topic for another day. The Demos has long since the Interregnum grown tired of war, of special interests and annexations and petty interplanetary disputes. I can assure you that, though we in the Yuuzhan Vong may wish to turn our sights outward, we never wished to see another city in the Republic destroyed, more ship debris falling to an unsuspecting lunar surface. Certainly, though, this is what Representative Solomon Karliah has asked for. He, under my name, purchased the massive fleet which blockaded Yah-Veen. He, under my name, created a large militia which now stamps out the individual liberties of the people of Onderon. He, under my name, created a conflict which Frostaria may not heal from in time for the Shri or the Forlaiz to invade. We are not alone in the Galaxy, but the despot ideals of Karliah rely on such a fact, that only the Terran Empire existed before us, and only her territories exist now. If you wish to depose the Ferrum, I would still endorse such an idea, but not until Karliah is removed from power."
Thunderous applause met the speech. Karliah's scowling hologram flickered and disappeared. Several Yuuzhan Vong representatives left the Senate building. These were all the marks of the coming civil war.

Total Population: 50 billion
Government Type: Federal republic
Capital: Caprica City (located in the planet of Caprica)
Moral Alignment (roughly): Very friendly towards other races, but focus on defending their interests

Brief history/backstory: The 12 Colonies of Kobol were originally founded by the ancient population of the mythical planet of Kobol. They came in great transports, known as the Galleons, and colonized all the 12 worlds that now form the Federal Union of Kobol, or most known as the 12 Colonies of Kobol.
Thousends of years after the establishment of communication between the populations of each colony (when the colonies were colonized, the settlers decided not to remain with their technology, as if they wanted to start over.), trade relations and alliances were forged. There were many technological breakthroughs in the colonies. Mainly in Caprica and Picon. Those breakthroughs led to the creation of the cybernetic node lifeforms, also known as the CYLONs.
The Cylons were introduced by the Greystone Industries to the Colonial society mainly as workers. They later on rebelled against their masters, leading the the Cylon War. The war made the Colonials once again invest in military technology, leading to the creation of the great Battlestars: two mile long deep space carriers that would transport many soldiers and small fighters across the 12 worlds to fight off the Cylon Basestars, which had a similar purpose.
When the war broke out, the Colonials saw no option but to unify the twelve worlds against a common enemy. The Articles of Colonization (pretty much a constitution) were signed, and the Federal Union was born. Ten years after a bloody war between humans and Cylons, the Colonials achieved victory, making the Cylons escape the colonies for good.
Nowadays, the colonies live in peace, researching new technologies. Colonials have been in a prosperous age, gaining military strength to strike the Cylons if they ever return and trying to improve their issues, such as poverty and corruption.
=Stats= (1-100)

[Jutalia]The hatch opened, revealing a room with a metal box sitting idle in the center. After cracking open the small container a radio waited inside, locked into a single frequency. One of the men took the radio, activating it's primitive function via pressing the cold, solid button. Static crackled, tearing about in the room as the second man pulled his secure case out once more. He reviewed a small document, eyeing another code, this time 50 digits long."Preliminary security confirmation code input," the first man spoke into the radio, looking at the digits. "3,0,1,8,2,3,1,9,0,0,2,5,6,1,3,3,4,6,1...." He continued, repeating each of the 50 digits into the radio. Once finished, the man waited, the once ubiquitous static silenced. Finally, after waiting a minute, an artificial voiced rasped back, satisfying the impatient men. "Input confirmation code accepted. Output lab location coordinates sending..." the A.I. said sternly, and its voice continued on with the coordinates for a suitable lab location. The location lied in a secluded valley, almost half way across the world. As the men boarded their landing craft to travel there, they wondered why so many security precautions had to be taken. [Phyrexia]A recent incident involving the Terran Federation's colonial security division and New Phyrexia's Navy has been noted. Yesterday one of the Federation's patrol boats was caught surveying a system technically owned by New Phyrexia. The Navy sent in a detachment of two frigates to scare the smaller boat off, but the council worries of potential future conflicts with external powers.

12 Colonies of KobolScorpion Fleet Shipyards, orbiting the Colonial world of ScorpiaRear Admiral Helena Cain is sitting at desk, reviewing reports from the latest tests of the Mercury-class Battlestar Pegasus, the newest modern ship in the Colonial Fleet. Suddenly, someone opens the door. It's Admiral Adama, her superior officer and a hero of the Cylon War.
She gets up and salutes.
"Sir."
"Admiral Cain, we both know there is no need for this."
"I'm just following the rules, sir."
"Well, at ease then. Anyways, I know you've been trying to hop into one of those adventures into deep space for a long time. I guess your wait is going to finally pay off."
"Sir?"
"You are being assigned to command the Battlestar Pegasus into deep space, past the red line. Uncharted territory. It's supposed to be a recon mission."
Admiral Adama throws a file into her desk. It's labeled "Operation Hermes". Cain picks it up and takes a look.
"Sir, I can't... I have my duties over here."
"Don't worry Helena. This is all you ever wanted! To command a Battlestar!"
She looks at a picture at her desk. There's a little girl and a man in Colonial officer dress uniform.
"Alright, sir. I'll take it."
"Good. You have one hour to pack up your things and head to dock 15."

The Foraiz Federation at Peace
(Word will be sent to the rest of the Federation in 2 turns of the peace. The Shri will get word of peace and relations after this post.) The Avax were frightened by these Shri but they would welcome them into their abode. As soon as their ship had landed, the Avax showed them around their planet and showed their visitors their form while several military Avax would be aiming at them if they did anything that would most likely kill them. They will ask this specialist about the Shri and what they want while also dabbling in possible trade. Specialist Clakik toured the area around their landing site with the Avax, drones recording whatever they took in and other Specialists following, pausing at some points, some drones clicking and clacking in response to weapons being trained on them, but otherwise ignoring them. Crude, but the message was there: Don't do anything hostile. Clakik put the translator to use more than it had been used before, and it even broke once, its messages coming out garbled on both ends. Once Clakik realized that, another Specialist produced a second translator that Clakik could use to continue negotiations. "Primes want power, favor with Overprimes. Specialists learn, create. Drones serve." When trade is brought up, Clakik pauses for a moment, retrieving information from a source the Avax cannot see, then resumes. "Useless technology of lesser races. Energy, raw materials. Subservient species. Others." Noticing the way the Avax seem to jump and shake, dancing with purpose like a mass of drones, the Specialist inquires about their communication methods and language. The Foraiz Federation at War
The enemy guns were silent, Luhrkikakchin noted. Some of the enemy ships had formed a shield line, taking hits as another plasma volley was unleashed on the alien ships. Communications were going from the planet to the alien fleet, right past the Shri. Unlike other races, though, a tiny portion of which had been able to intercept Shri communications, though had never succeeded decoding them, could mess up the transmission and cause the transmitters to produce useless hormones that meant nothing, the Shri could not do similar. The humans had, at least, basic security on their communications. The Raid Cluster detected several alien ships breaking from their formation, making for transition, presumably to go back to their worlds and carry information of the Shri. Impossible to stop, with the Shri trapped between the fleet line and the planet nearby, any attempt to escape would be met by more fire than the fleet could handle without an active defense formation. The Shri would have another conquest, another subservient species or another genocide on their list of many, many others. The guns rumbled again. Plasma was cheap, easy to build up and shoot out, and the aliens no longer fired their lasers at the Shri. The shield-ships were quiet, their shields soaking up more plasma than Lurhkikakchin had seen other ships of their size take. They must have been using up torrents of batteries recharging those shields after every volley, every burst whittling their shields down only to be boosted back up.
The Tunnelers would have arrived at the Shri systems by now. A fleet was being assembled. Lurhkikakchin ordered the fleet to move vertically, above and below the enemy ships to get around their shield wall. It would be depleted soon, concentrated volleys from many ships bursting through the shields of one enemy ship at a time, but more important was the ships that were undoubtedly building energy, attempting to follow up their last tactic with a devastating burst of lasers that could annihilate most of the Cluster. Spreading out, they could prevent that, and get more shots in themselves as the aliens undoubtedly drained power from their shields, relying on the defenders, to build a longer charge. Several sub-squadrons separated, moving away from the formation in vertical space, moving to get shots on the alien ships from above and below the defender's line.
(Yeah, this really doesn't carry the nice tone my other posts have. I threw it together fairly quickly, no effort put into making the narrative, just the sequence. To me, this feels very repetitive and bland. Bleh.)

It seems rather constraining to have subraces do certain things only." When they say useless technology of lesser races they ask "You don't mean us do you? We have plenty of rather useful technology like omnitools and the ship allocation protocol," with hope that they won't consider them lesser.
Bleh.)(You did great LNG. It still has your charm, don't worry.) The Foraiz Federation at PeaceThe 1% of ships evacuate their crew into other ships and turn all of their ship systems and rooms besides thrusters into EMP. The ships have been aimed at the major parts Shri cluster that has spread out and will disable all systems unless stopped, allowing fire onto them. The main squadron however attacks these vertical interlopers, they must have thought we actually powered down our shields and with their plasma systems being fully converted, they begin firing at the spread of Shri with plasma volleys.

(sorry for no posts, I'm just a bit preoccupied sometimes)
[Jutalia]
The crew eventually lands in the valley, setting up camp. From here they will station for a week, awaiting the inevitable radio signal from the others on the planet. A lab is put down by the planetary travel craft, allowing the scientists to continue research on the planet itself, and as well have access to what the underground facility ultimately, often, lacks; above-ground examination. A habitation, solar examination, and solar panel module are deployed as well, allowing the camp full functionality.
Meanwhile, an expedition is planned to reach the camp within a few days, from which the underground personnel are very cautious and weary.

(I FINALLY MADE A POST ARE YOU HAPPY?!) The Foraiz Federation at PeaceThe Avax are surprised that the Shri use this caste system and proceed to say "Don't you change to fit the situation? It seems rather constraining to have subraces do certain things only." When they say useless technology of lesser races they ask "You don't mean us do you? We have plenty of rather useful technology like omnitools and the ship allocation protocol," with hope that they won't consider them lesser. They proceed to explain the intricacies of their dancing language and their tendencies to change color in different patterns to express emotion. Specialist Clakik listened to the Avax, and waited for the translation. "Shri adapt to new environment. Shri adapt for survival. Specialists survive by creating. Drones survive by serving. Primes survive by gaining power." It pauses for a moment, waiting for the translation yet again. "Avax technology interesting. Unknown. Unknown value until acquired and analyzed. Observation analysis concludes Avax technology has advantages. Eager to see more up close." Another pause, to let the translation through. "Interesting. Shri emit hormones, primary communication method. This one is not trained for communications." Clakik then pauses for several minutes, the air becoming a little heavier as rapid hormone exchanges between Clakik and one of the other Specialists are made. Finally, Clakik speaks into the translator again, but once again it comes out garbled on both ends. Retrieving another translator and discarding the old one, Clakik resumes. "Possible integration. Simple tech module, easy to create, easy to maintain, easy to translate, between Avax and Shri. Wish to inquire further into possibilities with Avax."The Foraiz Federation at WarThe 1% of ships evacuate their crew into other ships and turn all of their ship systems and rooms besides thrusters into EMP. Lurhkikakchin was surprised, at least. He had not expected these aliens to be able to field both laser and plasma weapons at the same time, though why they hadn't used them before was confounding. Perhaps they had to power one or the other, but could not power both, using them for different situations. But a small portion of ships were docked with others, and energy readings spiked on those ships. They were traveling bombs, though rather than destroy all ships around them, they would simply disable all systems. Suicide runs were tactics the Shri were familiar with, and knew how devastating they could be. The Consumer and its sub-squadron turned their guns on the ships, the plasma charges bouncing off and damaging the shields of some ships they were docked to, some damaging the bomb-ships. But once they detached... the alien ships were diverting everything into their pulse. It would cause the Shri severe problems, for sure, but with their spread-out formation it would not totally disable them. And with armor instead of shields, the Shri ships would simply be unable to evade alien attacks until protected battery reserves were used to repower the engines. The aliens had made a tactical error here: the Shri armor held up about the same against plasma as it did against lasers, faring only moderately worse against projectile weapons such as magnetics.
The Consumer command ship, along with its supporting ships, and one other sub-squadron fired on the bomb-ships, ripping through their weakened shields much more easily and pitting their holds. Batteries were unloaded and charged into the weapons, giving an additional volley charge. It was speed vs. power, the question was whether the alien ships could arrive fast enough to disable any Shri ships. The alien ships were not sacrificing speed, but by burning through battery reserves the two Shri squadrons, including the more heavily-armed Consumer, were focusing their fire, completely destroying a dozen ships with each burst, burning through their hulls and melting their engines to scrap, some engines even exploding in the process as critical components were damaged and overcharged or malfunctioned in some other way. Meanwhile, the other sub-squadrons utilized their better vertical firing angles to fire past the shield-ships, while some were under fire by the enemy ships at the same time. Tunnelers flew about attempting to intercept heavy shots, while Adapters could soak up one heavy shot or a few medium shots, and Lurkers could absorb a few heavy shots with a couple medium shots to boot, or a small salvo of medium shots. The shield-ships were no longer important, and the sub-squadrons focused their fire on a few enemy ships at a time, seeking to destroy a few rather than damage several. Reinforcements would arrive soon... they had to hold out for a little while longer.Homecoming Hiklakchin strode into the antechamber. Deep underground, hosting a gathering of Overprimes to receive news of a new alien race. It had taken some time to arrange such a meeting, but Hiklakchin would earn much favor from this. Whether from introducing a new species to conquer... or a new species to ally with. The Overprimes would view both favorably. Drones scurried around, specialized energy fields in the walls and ceilings allowing them to take unconventional pathways around the Primes and Overprimes to do their duties. Specialists, commissioned and bred specifically to serve this purpose, dotted the room, in small clusters, ready to analyze and receive orders. It was the first time Hiklakchin had even been on a vaunted core world, and the splendor was amazing. As a lowly Raid Cluster commander, he could have barely dreamed of riches such as what he had seen here today.
But he could imagine himself owning such riches soon in the near future. Stepping to the core of the antechamber, he began his discussion of a new alien race with the Overprimes. He had left a small group behind, led by a Specialist who was continuing communications with these aliens, to find out more about them and whether they might benefit the Shri. And the Overprimes leaned forward, intrigued by this new development.

Simple tech module, easy to create, easy to maintain, easy to translate, between Avax and Shri. Wish to inquire further into possibilities with Avax." (GOD IS SMILING UPON US, LNG HAS MADE A POST!) A Senior Public Affairs Officer known as Tia has finally arrived to greet these aliens, she was rather religious and was a follower of the Flotology as she greets them with "Hey, I heard you're the specialist!". "Well quite a bit of the Avax quite rather like everyone adapting to their environment not because of survival but to speed up the flow of the universe. Some however believe that it's just fun to adapt to things in general. We have 'specialists' as you call them but we call them Researchers, their main goal is to adapt the Avax to every single thing but they can change to become something else and someone can take their place," Tia replied, hoping they would be interested in inquiring about Flotology however an agent vibrates without alerting the Specialist to inform her that she shouldn't push her religion.
"Avax technology has the ability to change and adapt for example our Omnitools can increase their volume by 600 times the normal standby mode and they can morph into any tool that you can program into it!" she says quite happily. When the Specialist tells of their communication methods the Avax are quite interested in them "We don't have hormones but we vibrate and change color to communicate, some species find this method quite weird but we think it's quite useful!" she tells them. "Okay, we'd like to have translation be as smooth as possible and we are interested in these possibilities as well! Let's discuss!" she answers. The Avax realized that their plasma wasn't doing anything better. they begin changing 40% of their forces' weapons into missiles and the rest into lasers, they were obviously designed to withstand quite a bit of energy damage but what about physical damage? While a lot of the bomb ships were destroyed, the many that survived have blown up and release their EMP and as soon as they do it, a lot of the Shri ships are immobilized. The missiles rain down upon the Shri with the ones that aren't immobilized are being shot at with lasers.

"Okay, we'd like to have translation be as smooth as possible and we are interested in these possibilities as well! Let's discuss!" she answers. "This one is creator, has a specific purpose. Specialist, yes. As explained, Shri survive, adapt for survival. Primes take from other species, become more powerful. Specialists create, improve, serve. We do this for long time, before Overprimes, before space-travel technology. Shri fight. Avax can... control evolution? Researchers control evolution, decide fate of species?" Clakik waits for the translator as the next section is translated. "Useful technology. Interesting. Not enough equipment on ships to engineer appropriate translation device, will require laboratory equipment. Work faster if Avax gives equipment to Shri. Drones efficient, can assemble very fast, test with Avax."Lurhkikakchin was surprised yet again. These aliens couldn't have all of lasers, plasma, and physical missile weapons. It would be too inefficient to split their firepower like that and only be able to use one at a time. They must have some form of adaptive technology, perhaps some form of fusion that changed their weaponry on the go. The Shri had encountered one species like that before. That species had only just been reaching into space, and had been exterminated by the Shri's might. The Shri, unfortunately, could not reproduce that technology. It did not matter; they would crush this race as they had all others. Or this race would crush them, it would prove its superiority, and the Shri would die. Lurhkikakchin had spread out the fleet's defenses, and with fewer Tunnelers available every minute, there were not enough to intercept all the missiles, though between laser defenses, and close-range weaker plasma blasts, each sub-squadron could hold its own without losing too many ships. Some of the EMP ships had sprinted to the Shri's defenses, and a few had managed to detonate and disable several Shri ships. Most were cut down as the aliens opened up with lasers again, the armor holding for some time until successive laser blasts drilled through their armor and hulls.
Two sub-squadrons were hit harder by the missiles and EMP ships, followed by lasers. Lurhkikakchin ordered them to combine into a new single sub-squadron, now slightly larger than normal. Together they covered their defenses, and avoided any further casualties. Soon enough, those ships that had been disabled had loaded up their emergency battery reserves, and were charging their engines to making a break for the edges of the system to escape into Darkspace. They did not have to wait long for an opening.
Out of Darkspace, behind the alien ships that had move in, was now two full Execution Clusters, with a full 864 ships each, with many more Consumers than the simple Raid Cluster Lurhkikakchin possessed. Without announcement or warning of any kind, they immediately closed in on the alien forces, unloading with heavy plasma weapons from an unexpected flank. The alien ships, already damaged by Lurhkikakchin's Raid Cluster as much as possible, would have to fall back or be heavily damaged or even destroyed. From his initial glance at the tactical holo, one was a standard Execution Cluster, and the other possessed a Hive Carrier, presumably with the commanding Prime on board, and also possessed several Invaders to conduct an assault on the world here. The Raid Cluster had taken losses, yes, but had also inflicted casualties upon the enemy. Two Execution Clusters would be enough to bail them out and lock this world down for good, perhaps joined by a Conquest Cluster should it prove troublesome. With no space defenses, it would be simple to conquer it.
The wounded Raid Cluster ships made for the point where the Execution Clusters would cover their escape, while Lurhkikakchin gave one command last command before deigning to open a communications channel with the now-commanding Prime: Attack. The Raid Cluster, reduced to just under 300 ships at this point, thrusted forward and reformed into a claw that would strike in conjunction with the pair of Execution Clusters, to destroy these aliens by any means possible. The Shri had a new enemy here.Steps of Power Hiklakchin stood at the center of the onlooking Overprimes and their Specialist analyzers, accompanied only by his own personal pair of Specialists. He negotiated for several hours, finding support among a few and opposition among many. Why deal with those we can crush and take from? Hiklakchin didn't know these alien's military strength, but they shared a kind of kinship with the Shri. He had received a Darkspace transmission update from an unexplored world, presumably a home to these 'Avax'. They shared the spirit of the Shri, changing with purpose and reason. Perhaps they had a different outlook, but an alliance with them, at least temporarily, could teach the Shri many things. Shields, energy, and the ability to change the structure of ship compartments so that their ships could adapt to survive in the midst of combat. The Shri built much, but much of what they learned was through the achievements from other races, all of which had been conquered and scavenged for what was left over. There was no longer a need for scavenging, as these Avax could complement the Shri's skills perfectly. Perhaps with full integration, the Shri would not view the Avax as another alien race, but as part of the Shri themselves. Negotiations went on, unknowingly towards a conclusion influenced by many factors. Opposition to this deal would soon arrive in the core worlds...

The Avax's Peace
"We have large libraries of knowledge that we can implant into our minds, we are very interested in psychodesign for other species as well!" Tia says almost hoping that they would let them tinker with their minds. Tia when hearing of needing equipment to create the device gives an omnitool to Clakik. "You can do a lot with this, I've set it up to read out whatever it says on the screen!" she tells him.The Avax's War
The Avax after seeing this feat have obviously been outnumbered and begin changing most of their systems to FTL and shields to escape this menace. They can't save this world but maybe they could help it. The Avax on a private channel to the humans, give them plans for FTL, ship morphism, Omnitools and Avax genetic modification tech. The Avax tell of a plan, a way to save this planet and for that plan to work is to go along with the Shri temporarily.(Check your PMs Rock.)
