[Imperial Phyrexia, Gallentus IV, Listening Post]
The older man stood back and watched the screen as he always seemed to do, seeking an blip on the scanning mechanism. He knew nothing would come of it, yet he had nothing better to do, and so he kept his eyes relentlessly trained. However, he did not expect a tiny, circular dot to appear on his overview, almost to the point were he didn't even see it. After engaging a directional scan the sergeant confirmed that it was unknown or alien, and immediately planned preparations as the capsule rocketed toward the planetside of Gallentus IV.

Internal Affairs Independence week has been indefinitely suspended. Reports of extraterrestrial life coming within contact put the planet on edge. Flights are cancelled, demonstrations have come to a complete stop. It had been said the First Minister has put the entire military on standby. He has also put out a signal, inviting them to Dyodoras for talks.
Military Affairs The entire military is in a frenzy. Ships are being launched to strategic positions, weapons production has increased. The air force has begun patrols over Dyodoras, both to ensure diplomacy isn't interrupted and that they're ready to pull the trigger when diplomacy fails.
Space Nearly every starship has been recalled. Except for one, which is disguised as a listening outpost.

They found what looked to be blocky, shoddy and rather poorly crafted ships in a far away system. Tribute Raid Cluster Kurkik Clizk emerged from Darkspace, to find the world as it should be. The colonist's orbital station floated around the single habitable world of this system. With work, the Shri could make another two habitable, though they would be a little warm or a little cold for some. The station had its own connector to the planet below, which delivered a constant stream of power from the thermal energy extractors on the planet. The mantle of the world shifted constantly as the molten iron heart spun faster than the rock surrounding it, the extra heat causing the mantle to shift and flow. The surface was sometimes affected by earthquakes, and volcanoes thought dead for centuries could reactivate at any moment, but the applications to gathering energy from the world were many. Thus, the Shri would take some of this harvested energy to power their ships and cannons, and a pitifully small portion of the humans this world contained. The Raid Cluster moved in, the Tunnelers going in first to ensure that the colonists were not a danger, followed by two of the guard squadrons in opposite directions to survey the world and update the Shri's maps of it. With no hostile resistance detected, the Consumer leading the Cluster and its escorts moved in to dock with the station.
Once the air seal was secure, drones scurried out from the large ship, seeking danger and the promised tribute. As expected, large crates filled with large batteries awaited them, ready to be loaded onboard the Consumer to be delivered back to one of the many Shri foundry worlds. The ships had energy cores, of course, but to keep stable in combat the Shri used capacitors and batteries to store extra energy, which they could draw on for quick engine boosts and weapon charging. Tribute like this was prized for its higher quality than what the Shri normally made, and the arrangement worked well for the Shri and, Hiklakchin supposed, the humans as well. A little further into the station, in one of the larger rooms, were the promised human tributes: huddled in fear of the comparatively small creatures that found them and stared at them with beady eyes, transmitted hormone messages back through the corridors to Hiklakchin. Specialists with restraining binds and neural inhibitors, devices that prevented all but the most basic of brain functions required to stay alive, these ones keyed to humans, came with the Prime, who was barely able to fit through the cramped hallways that were, apparently, comfortable for humans. Or at least were practical for them. Stepping into the room, he surveyed the stock. Mostly male, some young, many in the human "middle ages", and very few older ones. Many of them were terrified, but some looked at the drones, Specialists, and Prime with disinterested analyzation.
Hiklakchin turned to one of the Specialists and demanded, through the complex hormone messages the Shri were able to use, the reason for that behavior. The Specialist activated one of the devices it carried, an information-gatherer that took information from the Shri's knowledge base, and relayed the information it found. More likely than not, at least some of humans were 'criminals', similar to rebellious Primes. They would kill others without provocation, claim Matriarchs that were not theirs, take physical favor that the humans used or its equivalent, and many more heinous things to do. The Specialist concluded that perhaps some of these humans were 'criminals' that the main population wished to be rid of. It did not matter, so long as they were able to work. The restraining binds and neural inhibitors were attached, and one by one the drones carted the humans away while the rest looked on silently, those at the back seemingly squishing themselves into the walls in an attempt to not be noticed. Should they ever wake again, it would be to be hunted by a Prime or labor for the Shri on any number of projects.
Not too long after, the battery crates and the human tributes were packed away safely on Hiklakchin's Consumer. As it undocked from the station, its mission complete, it signaled to form up with the rest of the Raid Cluster. But something caught Hiklakchin's attention: Transition signatures, of an unknown type. A new force encroached on Shri territory. And should they attack and be defeated by Hiklakchin's Raid Cluster... maybe. More ships were transitioning out every second, if they kept coming they might outnumber the ships of Kurkik Clizk. Hiklakchin signaled the rest of the Cluster, and they formed up in battle formation. A single squadron guarded their back from whatever resistance might come from the world behind them, should they think that their salvation had come, while the rest formed up in a cylindrical pattern around the Consumer, their guns charged and ready. They would hold until they knew the newcomers intentions. But they would be ready.
(So this is aimed at Dex's thing, yee. I'm assuming that you're here for me. You probably know our weapons are charged, and the ships are in a defensive formation, but aren't moving towards or away from you. Act how you will, I guess, open a comm channel or whatever if you want to talk. You also know that the ships are near a station and the planet, so consider that they're defending the station and/or the planet.)

(wait should I be saying anything or are you talking to someone else about where you landed?)
[Imperial Phyrexia]
Projectile testing labs are set up in order to test high-velocity railgun charges which had formerly been banned due to fear of safety. However, recently the Phyrexian council has named the charges lawful for an unknown reason. The charges are very hard to come by in the public, though, and so the council does not worry too much.
Scientists and engineers band together to research inter-galactic travel, yet most are not sure if it is even possible in an efficient manner.
On the planet of Elysir the disease becomes almost extinct, yet other problems arise on the planet. The system's sun burns so brightly that the dark side of Elysir can be harvested for thermal energy acquired over centuries of sunlight on the bright side, but recently the planet's angle to the sun has changed and a city's safety is endangered and may be encompassed in the light zone eventually.

The listening posts are successful overall, and they have all been accounted for and sent in initial scans.

A new prototype ship is tested that is similar to the old pulled artillery, with one man cannon attached that deals a large blow. Work and research continues.

(Le/varus, I meant that the other provinces pretty much have no news of the arrival, because communication isn't really advanced in certain provinces, which means I'm open for interaction. Also, I'm bored.

The command ship otherwise known as "Quaterus" attempts to establish communications with these weird, shoddy ships and from immediate sensor analysis, command's estimation that quite a few ships were there was correct. They could tell that they were in a defensive position and the best way to counter while not committing an act of war is to go into a defensive position as well. They start to go into an arrow like pattern.

Most of the fleet has now arrived and the starships immediately begin shrinking rooms to add more to their weapons, defense and FTL systems which eventually becomes a cascade effect to the rest of them. Contact Raid Cluster Kurkik Clizk was outnumbered, but not by too much. The newcomers had somewhere between 600 and 800 ships, the Shri merely possessed 372, not counting the Tunnelers, which would be useless in a large-scale battle should one occur. The newcomers had stopped, just as the Shri had, and arranged themselves into an odd formation. A larger number of ships formed around a central point, with others taking up positions to the sides and slightly behind, while still mor earranged themselves for long-range firing and support in a line behind the central point. Yet just as the Shri would not move, neither would this other fleet. For a minute, they stared at each other, neither side willing to blink. Then Hiklakchin received an alert from one of the Specialists: this other fleet was attempting to contact them, through the spacefarer communications channels. A relic of a past age, as the Shri had made their own transmitter which was incompatible with the standard, one that could be used to transmit the complex hormone forumlas between ships much more easily. But the Shri had never sought to remove the old communications arrays, antennas and all. It could be used as a backup system, or to confuse their enemies if necessary.
Hiklakchin ordered that the channel be opened, so that he could see this new species. A larger screen imposed itself over the other ones in his command throne view, the ship statuses drifting to the side, above, and below. Hiklakchin found himself facing an odd alien. Round, with no visible armor or weapons to defend itself with. A creature that, to the Prime's eyes, looked weak and malleable. Compared to the Prime, it was small, without the bony plates or the intimidating graspers that Primes possessed. As with all others, a prey species. But the conclusion had been reached early; an instinctive reaction to encountering others. Hiklakchin retracted from that viewpoint, and attempted to analyze this new species with a still mind. Round, flexible... he could not tell what it was made of. The prime ordered a drone to act as its mouthpiece, with assistance from a Specialist that was retrieving languages from the Shri's database.
Hiklakchin told the drone through hormones what to say, and the drone clicked and clattered in the Shri's tenuous and inefficient vocal language, also a relic from far too long ago. The Specialist, of course, could not find these new aliens in the database, so the various clicks and clatters were translated into the one language that had spread throughout the stars with its creators, the only one that this other species might know: That of the humans. The drone, resting on its Prime master, said the message, which translated into "We are the Shrichiakchin. Are you predator or prey?"

(being neutral has nothing to do with post activity. Just post about research development and government/social problems if you are bored.) This. Find something to post about, people. And if you really have nothing on your brains, the Shri are always searching for new food subjects punching bags alien species. also even tho the shri are chaotic evil they're still sentient, plz don't think that they're just gonna murder you off the bat. they might. but maybe they won't. maybe you can enter into a mutually beneficial agreement with them, and/or get them to think you're subservient so they won't attack you but still be independent.

The Avax had little experience dealing with these "Shri" with bony armor and intimidating grasping limbs but they had some knowledge of this human language. Their communications officer ran to their library and was back with knowledge of this language. The Avax sent back their own message 'We can be predator, prey, both or neither," to indicate that they had no wish to fight or run away unless they forced them to. The Avax colored the message in yellow to indicate that they were alert but were not aggressive.

A large space station design is created, which has a self sufficient capabilities and is made for long periods of no external contact. A prototype is thought of, but it would be quite expensive. The race for intergalactic travel continues.
