Government Type: Democracy/Parliamentary Republic So you see, each planet has their own parliament and Prime Minister. But every once in a while, select represents from each parliament come to the main parliament of all five planets.
Capital: Planet Regar Moral Alignment: True Neutral Alias: None
Brief history/backstory: Golartha was once a small nation on the planet of Regar. But one victory after another, Golartha slowly grew and conquered it's home planet and four others. For now, however, Golartha has been only using their military for defense.
=Stats= (1-100)
Wealth: 62 Poverty: 48 Technology: 67 Corruption: 29 Military: 59
=Military=
Military Population: Around 760 million
Major Branches: The Golartha military consists of 3 major divisions. One of which is the Space Division, they are the soldiers who pilot the spaceships and engage in battles off in space. There is also the Home Division, who stays on the five planets to help defend any oncoming attacks. The final division is the Planet Division, they get dropped onto planets to fight either in the ground, sea, or sky.
Minor Branches: The Planet Division also consists of another three branches. It is divided into the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Specialist Groups: There is a group known as the Imperials. They are the ones who deal with both off and on planet conflicts. They're also known as the "Elites" of Golartha.
Extra Info: There are also more groups, but they are race exclusive and pertain to their special skills.
Description of weapons/ships/tech: The technology of Golartha is very similar to that of Earth's technology. The only difference being that Golartha uses high powered lasers to cut through their enemies instead of bullets and that they have quite the proficient space travel technology.
Capable of FTL travel?: No
[Species Sheet]
Species Name: Rock Golems Homeworld: Planet Regar
Physical Description: They are large and powerful humanoid monster made of rocks. All of them lack the ability to show emotion due to their stone cold face.
Intelluctal/Intelligence Description: Rock Golems are those with quite the minds. They are smart enough to keep up with Ents, but they always fall behind. They seem to be quite intelligent, but not as much as Ents.
Extra Info: As rock, rock golems don't have much to actually worry about. But they do have weaknesses, such as being much softer is some areas than others.
-
Species Name: Clay Golems Homeworld: Planet Fednur
Physical Description: Clay Golems usually seem to be quite muddy and squishy, but they can solidify at will and change their form.
Intelluctal/Intelligence Description: Clay Golems are those with a servant's mind. They think of what to do for others and are quite proficient in doing so. However, they do not excel in many other subjects.
Extra Info: Due to having a composition of clay, Clay golems are very flexible and can mold themselves into various shapes with enough time. But when drenched in water, they suffer greatly.
-
Species Name: Ents Homeworld: Planet Yojir
Physical Description: Their appearances are very similar to that of Rock Golems, the only major difference being that they're made of wood.
Intellectual/Intelligence Description: Ents are to humans as humans are to worms. They have a far superior level of intellect compared to an average human, despite being just living, talking trees.
Extra Info: Ents are essentially golems made from wood. A major downside to being an Ent is being highly flammable. They also have similar weaknesses as rock golems.
-
Species Name: Ice Goliaths Homeworld: Planet Okun
Physical Description: Ice Goliaths are also very similar to Rock Golems, just that they're ice.
Intelluctal/Intelligence Description: They are more so the brawn of the nation than the brains. Although there are some special ones who are quite intelligent, but those are the vast minority.
Extra Info: Being Goliaths, they are larger than golems and are made of ice. Ice golems are like "ice" cannons, too, being the strongest of the five, but the most fragile.
-
Species Name: Flesh Goliaths Homeworld: Planet Junjin
Physical Description: Flesh Goliaths look much like average human beings, only being much larger in size and much bulkier as well.
Intelluctal/Intelligence Description: Most Flesh Goliaths have the intelligence of an average Earthling as of now. But usually, Flesh Goliaths have a far greater understanding of technology.
Extra Info: Flesh Goliaths are the most like humans out of the five. They are composed of a flesh-like material and are considered the most "awkward" of the five races of Golartha.

LeBlunder, you need FTL travel to travel between solar systems quickly (hyperspace.) with this in mind, do you now want FTL travel?

Accepted then. You guys can start if you want, but I can't make a large post til tommorow. If any of you are confused on what to post/have never been in a NRP before, basically you just control the nation as a whole instead of one character.

Lower tech and wealth stats. Also, military is way to big in terms of pop. Decrease it to at least 500 million, over that is only in war times.

[The Imperial State of New Phyrexia]
[Foreign Relations/Diplomacy]
As New Phyrexia itself was formed on the ideals of feeling superior and being of an elitist society, no diplomacy occurs with alien nations at the moment. Some merchant vessels are legally allowed to trade with other human nations, but the rules are strict and clearance is seemingly needed to do anything. Although a bit restricting, most Phyrexians do not care for their lack of access to trade with anyone in the galaxy.
[Military]
A plan issued by the Upper Council was passed today, which permits the military to establish listening and long range reconnaissance posts on each inhabited planet within New Phyrexia. Government funds are provided and construction drones are prepared. At first the plan would seem quite costly, yet the military and council have a strong bond which allows the two to easily interact and act between each other.
[Research/Industry]
In an age of peace and prosperity most Phyrexians are encouraged to become engineers, scientists, and other jobs contributing to research and the everlasting thirst for knowledge. University is almost entirely free, with families only paying small fees for their children to enter. Government funds are allotted for FTL travel research, but for the last few centuries most interstellar civilizations have not found out anything more on the tech, and many suspect it is the fastest organisms will ever go with ease.
Within the last decade Synthetic Engineering and Biology have been very popular and quickly growing fields. Applications for synthetics are definitely relevant, and work continues on artificially creating organs, plants, and even live animals.

Winter
These were the quiet months, where the Shri were forced by the changing orbit to adapt to the cold. The Shri were quiet in Winter, as the Matriarchs huddled in the deep dens, every night a feast of furred mammals from faraway worlds, the warmth of their coats now protecting the Grand Matriarchs of the homeworld from the cold. The Shri were not mammals, but they would take what they needed to survive. The Drones scurried about with their new coats of course fur, something that hadn't existed on the homeworld before, or perhaps went extinct long before any Shri alive today was birthed. Even in the quiet months, there were things to do. And not every world was in winter, or had winter at all.
On this day, the Overprimes would rest, and let their governed territories rule themselves for the most part. Each Subprime, delegate to the Overprimes, would have ways to prove their worth in the coming months. Perhaps the Supreme Overprime might find one of them more favorable than their master, and a replacement would be in order. There were no half measures with the Shri. The strongest survived. And the weak served to fuel the strong, as food, labor, or with their creations. A small, lightly furred race, each made into a sociopath creating new weapons of destruction, was the newest race to be conquered by the Shri. With only three worlds, they had fallen quickly, yet their resistance had been admirable.
Their creations served the Shri now. Much of it was useless, some was scrap and some simply too complex for the Shri to rebuild. Shield systems, as always, were impossible to replicate for the Shri until they found a suitable simple system which they could reverse-engineer and expand their knowledge enough to use the more complex ones. But this newly conquered race had built weapons, not defenses. The remnants of their gargantuan Orbital Disruptors, monoliths that had broken hundreds of Shri ships, dotted their worlds. Complex systems, but the Shri understood weapons of death if nothing else. And the prisoners of this race had given up their secrets in exchange for promises of power. So many had jumped at the opportunity to tell and teach the Shri all their secrets in exchange for life, riches, and creative freedom to make more weapons of mass destruction.
Most would never receive the power they so craved. They would be consumed, and their genes used to make the Specialists more cunning than the last generation. A few would be kept, to teach the Shri what they needed to know, and then consumed as well. Only complete genocide would satisfy the Shri, when that race had killed so many. And the Shri would use the Orbital Disruptors to kill many, many more, after the months or years it might take to build them. One more weapon in the Shri's arsenal. One more tool of dominance that the Shri would eventually achieve.
Even in winter, the long and cold winter, the Shri found productivity and continued the endless war.

ArmadaThe Shri were prepared for the next battle. The Drones would fight and die to spread the Shri. They lived for nothing but the will of the Primes. Their fleets would assemble, their foundries would built more ships, and the Matriarchs would give life to more Drones to fill the gaps where others fell. And new Matriarchs would arrive to populate the newly conquered worlds, letting the Shri grow more and expand further. Their grasp would touch all worlds, and close upon them soon enough. In the space around Chaklick-Azkin, one Raid Cluster among many left the orbit around the foundry world. Chaklick-Azkin was one of many, just as the Raid Cluster was, a cold world covered in industry, a billion drones hard at work on the surface preparing the next batch of starships, Darksuits, whatever was needed. In orbit around it, a massive space dock connected to the planet by a comparatively tiny elevator held the beginnings of a Consumer, which even now dwarfed the Tunnelers delivering resources from the world and taking with them Darksuits to other worlds where they would be given to the Drones assigned to defend there.
Raid Cluster Kurkik Clizk assembled itself, Tunnelers guarding every flank with their meager antifighter lasers, while small sub-squadrons of Adapters led by a Lurker took two to each side, one behind, and three in front, while at the center of it all sat a powerful Consumer surrounded by its own set of Adapters. The Raid Clusters were among the smallest Clusters the Shri yielded, but one of the most numerous. With advantageous use of resources that required minimal investment for the power they yielded, Raid Clusters could move independently and harass opponents, before a stronger force arrived to make the fell swoop. As well as other uses. Kurkik Clizk had a very special mission: one to collect from one of several human-populated worlds that had offered their servitude in the face of the Shri armada. These worlds, mostly human colonists, yet there were a few others, were allowed to operate without Shri guidance or extensive observation most of the time, and offered some of their resources and people every so often to the Shri. Some tried to rebel, building warships the second the Shri left, but always these worlds were weak and their 'fleets' couldn't stand up to even a Raid Cluster. So Raid Clusters went to collect, always, and crush any opposition should it be encountered.
The Prime in charge of this Raid Cluster, Hiklakchin, was on the command throne in the Consumer. Numerous holographic displays surrounded him, each with its own subtle light that changed patterns and sometimes colors. Each display represented one of the squadrons in the fleet, plus one display for the Tunnelers as a whole and one display for the Consumer command ship. The shifting patterns and colors were the status of each group and within it, each ship, easy for the insect-like eye of the Prime to interpret into its meaning. Finally, all the ships in the Cluster were ready for Darkspace transition. Hiklakchin emitted a set of command hormones, which receptors in the command throne noticed, activated, and sent the pattern for it in what would be a complex string of seemingly random numbers and letters to each other ship in the Cluster, which was replicated for the Drones and Specialists of each of the ships. The command was simple: Enter Darkspace.
So they did. In almost perfect sync, the Raid Cluster transitioned into Darkspace, the Shri's name for another place that they could not fully comprehend. It was dark, dimming even the lights that existed within the ships, thus their name for it. Things also became very quiet in Darkspace, every noise barely a whisper. The groans and creaks of each ship became just a fainting memory, the idle clicks and clatter of the drones around the ships became mere movement without noise. But Darkspace would get them to their objective, and that was what mattered. Soon, they would reach the world. As with many human names, it was unpronounceable to the Shri, but technology made up for it, with translations as accurate as could be between two very different languages. Their duty was to collect some of the resources the planet had gathered since the last collection, and to take some of the humans for various reasons, one of which was to refill the Overprime's stocks. Hiklakchin had never tasted human meat, but the Supreme Overprime had a taste for it. Perhaps Hiklakchin would demand one more human... just to try it.
(This is a chance to RP. If nobody replies, fine, this sequence will continue. But this is a golden opportunity for anyone to begin with a fleet here saying "we protect this world" or whatever else you might do and maybe fight the Shri.)

With new threats always on the rise in this new day and age, the Golartha "Imperials" were just surveying the nearby star systems for any potential dangers. But other than that, recently, life in Golartha has been quite average and such. All the races of Golartha are just experiencing their daily lives.
Runderol and the other ministers are all currently in Regar having political discussions.

Nation Name: Federal Republic of Slydavia Nation Leader(s): 1, although there are provincial governors, all laws concerning that province must be signed or Vetoed by the First Minister. Total Population: 1 Trillion Government Type: Federal Republic/Direct Democracy Capital: Dyodoras Moral Alignment (roughly): Lawful Neutral Alias (optional): N/A Brief history/backstory: After years of civil war and vicious fighting, the people of Slydavia finally banded together under one flag, that represented many. Overhauling the Absolute Monarchy system, the people of Slydavia are governed under a mixture of Direct Democracy and a Federal Republic. For every Province, there is a monocamerial legislature. Each representative of every city in the province is allowed to introduce laws that must have a majority approval of 3/4s of the legislature. Once the law is passed to the First Minister, he or she can veto it or sign it. If the people are unhappy with the legislature or certain laws, a petition may be started that must gather 1/2 of the province's population approve of it. Any action in the petition must happen within 48 hours.

@starkeem, accepted. You may increase your military if you wish.
[Universe]
The Shri military force lands in a decently sized solar system with 8 planets, 1 of which is habitable. The planet is an independent colony with some support from the giant, powerful Terran Federation. The planet is mostly unremarkable, but on the surface several experimental thermal plants have been constructed. One orbital extraction station sits in the planet's orbit, and the planet itself is home to around 150 million souls.
[Imperial Phyrexia]
As capsules are launched from several manufacturing planets the listening outposts inside sit idle, awaiting their deployment. Each capsule is designated to one of the Phyrexian planets, which five men manning each. Estimates expect that by the end of the month initial empire-wide scans will be finished, and the military will have a better mapping system at hand.
With the rise of a particular disease on the thermal energy harvesting planet of Elysir, a new nanobot package is deployed to the planet, and reports conclude that the nanobot has a 98.7% success rate. With this the Phyrexian government sets aside funding for other medicine-related nanotech research.

The world is self-sustaining, or at least trying to be because they have no other option. They're near the Shri's border, but still definitely within Shri space, so no direct support from anywhere else will be forthcoming, unless they try hiring smugglers which might be more expensive than it's worth. The Shri will do... well, suffice to say, bad things to said smugglers if they get caught. Earth can support 7 billion humans, and these humans have spacefarer technology(thought it's only colonists, they don't have the industry to build big spaceships) so they can maintain their current number and even grow pretty easily.

Karosh Sector, Conglomerate Activity The time of war has ended. With the capture and subsequent execution of the renegade Admiral Palus, the last resistance to the newly formed Conglomerate has been crushed. Peace has been established, and the Ro'shani ascendancy has been guaranteed. However the cost has been substantial, nearly one hundred years of total war have left dozens of worlds razed and scores more reduced to pale shadows of themselves. In order to combat this, four billion military personnel are being released fully from their duties and granted land by the government on these ruined worlds. To supplement this, thousands of aging navy vessels are being decommissioned and scrapped to build infrastructure for these worlds as well as a series of fortified starports along the Conglomerate borders.

Internal Affairs Slydavia this week will be vibrant and alive, as it is the 50th anniversary of the existence of the Slydavian Federal Republic. The military will perform demonstrations every demonstration day. Travel to the different provinces is heavily encouraged, and businesses are having discounts to promote the week.
Military Affairs Navy ships are being sent to Dyodoras for repairs and upgrades. The army is expected to reveal new vehicles and weaponry on their demonstration day. The air force is acquiring 30 space transports from vehicle giant Eagle Armaments.
Space The Slydavian First Minister has commissions for further research into space travel.

Aftermath
Stargate 20 over the city of Frostaria.
The aftermath of the Interregnum left the Republic with many issues to deal with. From militaristic factions in the Frostarian Planetary Parliament (and, more broadly, the Republic Senate) to infrastructure and domestic centers in need of rebuilding, the people had much to do. First and foremost, however, were the elections- two main parties ran for the seats along with a few minor, third-party representatives. The Senate was fairly balanced, with 100 senators divided as so-
Yuuzhan Vong: 43 seats Ferrum: 41 seats Laborum: 8 seats Fraterni: 5 seats Demos Fraterni: 2 seats Pax Frostarae: 1 seat
The Executive Committee, however, was less evenly split. Each Senate party had its own House Representative- Aria Stein for the Pax Frostarae; Fabian Locke for the Demos Fraterni; Thorres Ine for the Fraterni; Lorrein Corbyn for the Laborum; Paul Sparrow for the Ferrum; Solomon Karliah for the Yuuzhan Vong.
With the Yuuzhan Vong being an outwardly hawkish faction, the Ferrum founded a coalition with the two Fraterni and the Pax Frostarae as well as half the Laborum Senators to push in a President (( I'm replacing the Chancellor bit )), Representative Arrhen Paolo. This caused massive unrest in the Senate and the Parliament alike, and much rhetorical public speech across the Republic. However, disaster had been averted- it was soon revealed that the Yuuzhan Vong had already been planning a campaign into several smaller nation states near the outlying colonies, and to convert the IDB into a Grand Army of the Republic.
(( Sorry this took me so long- I was working on a longer post that I ended up not doing. ))

(anybody wanna you know, interact) The Foraiz Federation
The 24 intelligences were meeting due to what appears to be an alien ship on their sensor logs near a colony system. The sensors picked up on this ship through lidar systems due to the interest in colonizing and industrializing more solar systems. They found what looked to be blocky, shoddy and rather poorly crafted ships in a far away system. The federation is currently in a frenzy of excitement and fear but due to pressure from several groups, they had come to a decision to send several hundred ships equipped with their finest(quite usable) in weapon, shield, sensor and FTL systems to investigate, engage in diplomacy or engage in war.(pls dont murder me)
