Sorry about the lack of news, guys! I've been invited to a Shadowrun 5e group and have been building my character over the past couple of days. That's what I've been focusing on.
Also, I've been trying to get the hang of roll20's tools. I could start right now, and in the next few hours if anyone's still on.

Also, you may wish to come up with a sphere, name, and ideology for your God. I find that it helps inspire conflict

I believe I should clarify one thing. I do not hate Bede and to the contrary I am quite a fan. However, his histories are highly biased because he's a Northumbrian and so of course his histories portray Northumbria as the best of the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. He's a good historian and theologian, but he wasn't objective and that's all that I was saying.
Just thought I should clear that up.
