I got a fairly expensive hobby which involves collecting sneakers. Got my eyes on some that cost $240 New Balance 996 By the Sea Editions, $375 Nike Air Force 1 Mids Flax, and of maybe ridiculously expensive Yeezy Boost 750.
Just wondering what kind of hobbies and collections you guys have, no matter how expensive.

Okay, two things. First, what the hell are you doing here, WiFi? I IP banned you; how the hell are you here?
Second, I'm an avid collector of anglo-saxon era coinage; I currently have two Stycas (together worth a few hundred pounds) and am saving up for more coinage.

Don't ban him, that'd be unfair.
Now, on thread, photography as a hobby. As a collection, none currently. Though I had over 500 Hot Wheels cars when I was a kid. Got real angry when I found out my parents gave them away to my shithead cousins.

@tim Wow you're trying so hard to start a fight it's not even funny. I ain't having it. @raf Lemme see dem photos then Tim continues to shed the belief that VPNs exist where you don't use the same IP, as well as how easy it is to change an IP address. My hobby is going to be collecting AWP skins and stickers in CS:GO as well as becoming the proud owner of all 30 (non-variant) Air Jordans, as well as a private stash of Yeezys.

I collect hats - mostly baseball caps from other states, but I do have some other hats. Nothing fancy, though.

I am on a quest to learn and memorize one word from every world language. There are more languages in the world than there are words in the English language, so good luck with that.

I am on a quest to learn and memorize one word from every world language. There are more languages in the world than there are words in the English language, so good luck with that. 1st: I highly doubt that, unless you're counting children's made-up gibberish language. 2nd: Only the ones that are actively used around the world. Nobody or very few people could teach me how to speak some of those things, because dead languages are dead for a reason.

Apparently there are over a million words in the English language albeit some of them may not exactly be considered 'proper' words. Edit: According to the Oxford dictionary there are around 171,000 words with a further 47,000 something obsolete words.

"Cat" is Luxembourgish for cat, according to clicking a random language on google translate. "קאַץ" is Yiddish for cat, once again according to google translate. "Kissa" is Finnish for cat "ကွောငျ" is Burmese for cat
Does that help?

Using google translate to learn multiple languages is like trying to get a PHD in a subject by skimming it's Wikipedia page.
Don't use it Timmy and LNG

If you really wanted to learn a language properly, you'd just take normal classes because Duolingo will never be able to teach you a language fully.
