Funny how I didn't bring it up in the OP. Someone asked me right after, therefore causing this drama. That one guy needs to shut up. The guy who made my friends turn to my enemies.
I also thought there was a limit to how egotistical one could be. This whole thread taught me otherwise.

Purring, I'm going to tell you (and everyone else here) something that you likely won't believe. I never brought my secrets up in the first place. You people have been obsessed with finding out my personal information for a while now. Pawz and Jake trying to make me say what my age is. LNG harassing me to make a roll20 account. I'm tired of it. Age isn't a big indicator of who someone is. I was born at approximately 8:00PM EST on January 3rd, 2000. Roll20 is much more secure than ROBLOX in terms of identity protection. Also you were the one who brought it up. You're behaving like Parsoktek - I didn't start the argument! Also, whatever the reason is it can't be worse than z0rr0w's pædophilia or Pruz's... Pruziness. And yet many people don't give a damn about who they are. |

No, you don't understand! You can't drop this once it's told, now just let it go! And why the heck is my IP visible?! That's absolutely stupid! It's to make sure people know who's who. A guest can claim to be multiple people or someone can impersonate someone else as a guest and IP addresses may be one of the few ways to catch at least some people on their bullshit. |

The only *real* thing a Hacker could do with an IP address is a Distributed Denial of Service.
And lets face it, even if a Hacker gets your info by launching Brute Force SSH attacks, most people in the world are either too lazy or too far away to do anything.
And if you share the same LAN as your hacker, you can report them to the police.

But the actual truth is generally cryptic too. And even if I found the courage to express such reasons as to why I can't make a Proboards account, I would worry as to how all of you react. And I'm pretty sure you wouldn't react well. I'd like to stay here as a guest as long as nobody uses my IP for any other reason then banning. And as long as this whole thing clears up...I don't even know what to call this anymore. If I said 'drama' I'd sound like Parso, and I definitely don't want to do that.
As I said before, the truth is just as cryptic as keeping it hidden. In fact, it might even be more complex. It doesn't really make sense, and I know that. I'm not trying to imply that this isn't my fault. Of course it is. I posted this thread, right? But then I realize that I was saying I DID tell you all to stop replying, but you all insisted that I didn't.
It's because I didn't really elaborate the fact that I wasn't trying to continue this...erm, thing. I just wanted to make a point, but I can see now that it seems impossible. So I looked at what you all had said when enraged at me and tried to take part of it and prove it wrong. Surely there's a statement in this thread that's shoving words in my mouth or is exaggerated, since we all make mistakes, especially me. But I haven't found a statement like that yet.

It's probably not as bad as you think it is, and it'll sure end this faster than if you were to continue what you're doing now. If you tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, I'm sure people will understand. Worst case scenario? Maybe a couple people make fun of you for making such a big deal out of nothing, for a while, until they inevitably forget about it because they have way more awful things to make fun of. And there's a chance that might happen in any other scenarios as well- some, more than others. Still, not so terrible. 2. Don't. Firmly say that you won't tell anyone, and that's final. Don't reply to the thread anymore; completely ignore any mention of it, and whatever you do, DON'T bring it up again, even when you think you're being provoked. People might not like you for a while, but once you abandon the thread, there's not much else to talk about here, and thus, the thread will die and slowly fall into irrelevance. Don't bump it out of oblivion to say what a relief it is that people stopped replying on it, either. I think we can all agree that that would be incredibly unwise. 3. Continue. Just keep doing what you're doing. As it progresses, others will continue to compare you to Pruz and Parso, and the more aggressive-sounding ones will probably toss more insults and swear words your way- Some may be deserved, others might not be. Nonetheless, most people, if not all, will consider you to be some level of stupid and make fun of you long after whenever the thread finally dies. Again, though, not forever, because I'm sure that newer, more worthy causes of belittling will pop up, but depending on how far you go with this, you may already be that candidate. Sooo, what'll it be? |
