How is it fair that LNG controls everything? We can't have wars, no nothing, because he'll just bombard us if he decides he doesn't like us and will win instantly, without the need of actually losing any troops.
Nerf pls
And I'm not saying completely remove it, it's not like nukes, just to make it to where you can only bombard so many times a battle so if someone wants to fight they still have to lose troops.

As far as I can see vammy was pretty much ignoring it in battles with demons and shadows. But I've worked hard for my orbital artillery, and it's a very good out-of-war-thread tool to bomb birm with.
And no I can't instawin with it. I can bomb people back to the stone age, but they go underground and all I can do is make big craters with kinetic penetrator rods and hope that I kill them with the nuclear bomb-sized crater.

Why do you want to instakill Birm anyway? I have a forcefield so forcefield > orbital bombardment.

That's true, but what i they haven't previously established some sort of underground place? They are constantly bombarded until they lose so many troops that the user of the orbital bombardment would have minimal casualties. And it should cost a lot to use them, thinking about it. They're so powerful, enough to wipe out small armies and navies, so it should come with a consequence of using them.

Forcefield < Orbital bombardment
No forcefield is invincible, and by the laws of physics to counter the energy deposited by the orbital bombardment the shield has to counter with an equal or greater amount of energy. Not to mention that if you are using electromagnetic shields, I could just make something that ignores the shield by way of matching the shield's harmonics or just making a casing for my stuff that ignores the electromagnetic part of the shield.
So yeah, forcefields vs. orbital bombardment, forcefield will defend you for 1-2 shots, but then it'll run out of power really fast.

I have a lot of bombardment satellites. I'm pretty sure I can destroy your shields with shots left over in one volley, maybe two at most.

how does lng have all of these swarmers and ammo and crap in his satellites
it doesnt make any sense
things dont just appear on satellites
200 alien bugs? how much does that weigh. the satellites mus tbe gigantic., or the swamers must be tiny.

I'd think that a good consequence or something to keep you from using it over and over again would be something akin to a cooldown.
