"If you don't mind." the man takes the gatling laser out of the arachnid's... limbs. Upon holding down a trigger, the barrel begins to spin and lasers shoot rapidly into the air.

Knowledgers have begun to ponder using beams of light in every life: communication and relaying of information, possibly.
-Cultural contamination: "Light-weapons" are currently the most respected/feared weapon among Spodrs.

At first the truck captures their fascination more than the rifles.
Knowledgers ponder the design and use of large, mechanical vehicles.
The rifles are examined and carefully contained, lest they ever require usage.

Your spodrs begin looking into this new tech your being given, they wonder how to use it safely and hopefully at the right time,
This faith of Vammyism and Overworld is showing up once more maybe they're a threat to some but whatever they're your new technology shall in handy.
Your purpose is very fluid

Attempt to alter our single Behemoth Spodr with metal parts to create a living, semi-biological vehicle that moves via its legs.

It runs on Spodr, actually, as the Behemoth Spodr is still alive and just sorta walks around. Living vehicles seem much more reliable.
Attempt to produce another Californium Spodr, and send it into the mine as an explosive tool for breaking through bedrock.

The Sun is the First Being, for it is beginning of all life on this world. Spodr legends tell of the SunSpodr, a prophetic Spodr made of arcane power and the very fires of the
Sun. Some older if, should enough Crystals be assembled, a SunSpodr could be created once again. For now, the Sun is simply the source of all light, heat and life.
Unless you actually want real lore, like what actually happened, then that's your call.
Did the Californium explosion uncover anything new? A new metal to make Spodrs out of?
The Knowlegers search the rubble for a new metal pls.

Real lore is usually player made, yes even the weird stuff
It discovered bedrock kinda strong, yes bedrock armor
Lore: Did you know that during Kingdoms two, people conquered the entire the world twice. Both times weren't fun for anything except the conqueror

Almost reminds me of totg, in the sense that some serious bullshit can be pulled at times.
Have the Knowledgers and builders attempt to harvest this layer of bedrock.
Continue to expand the Iron Webs for more Iron Spodrs, and begin work on a Californium Web.

Yes the first time three kingdoms united together to bring peace, then they realized they could just invade everyone until they got peace, they proceeded to conquer the world until Prec stopped them.
Later Prec decided conquering was quite fun so he nuked everyone while Birm and Totremarra helped him stomp people
