The retired agent leads you into his back office, where you find a briefcase soon placed in front of you. "You gear," he says, snapping it open to reveal your pistol and assorted gear. "I don't know how close I will be able to get you, I'm sure you can at least drive a jet ski the rest of the way." Pausing for a moment, he looks around and hands you a large plastic bag. "Just in case anything there doesn't play well with water." he explains with a shrug.

I pick up the pistol and make sure it's loaded. After that, I put on the ear piece and pin camera, strap the pistol(presumably it came with a holster of some sort) to my belt, and put the rest in the plastic bag. "Thank you for holding these for me," I say, "Lead on to the boat."
(Question, is the Earpiece two-way, meaning if I speak, or whisper as the need arises, the operators back at HQ can hear any questions I have and get back to me with advice, or would I have to, say, write a message of my question somewhere and let them read that?)

(It's two-way. You speak, they hear, and vice versa. They also see pretty much what you see via the pin camera; The device pretty much allows you a second brain to think with but not a second body to get spotted.)
After getting your gear situated, the agent nods and leads you out the back door, shutting off the lights and locking the shop up on his way behind you. Shortly into your walk, you hear a soft static sound followed by a click. "Greetings Silence," you hear a woman's voice suddenly whisper in your ear. "I will be seeing and hearing exactly as you do if you need assistance with anything." It is a short walk from the shop to the pier before you find a multitude of various boats moored. Climbing onto one with a small black jet ski on the back, Mr. Parks seats himself behind the controls after untying the boat, motioning you aboard with a wave of his hand.

I get on the boat and sit down near the back, making sure everything I have is secure.

Taking your seat, the driver cautiously pulls the vessel away from the pier before setting off into the endless gulf ahead. Any light that had remained in the sky quickly diminished and became a dark void. During the better part of two hours, you sit rather restlessly in the back as any conversation with the driver was short lived; It was clear he had no desire to be here tonight. Suddenly, he pulls the boat to a complete stop and rests it on the surface, leaning back from the seat to look back at you. "We should be damn near on top of the son-of-a-bitch at this point." he says, looking out into the water before pointing and adding, "In fact, I bet that glow out there is what you're looking for. You ready back there?"

"I'm ready." I say, standing up and looking over the jet ski, familiarizing myself with the controls as best I can.

Mr. Parks nods and cautiously pushes the jet ski, with you aboard it, from the edge of the boat and into the water. "I'll remain here for ninety minutes for extraction." he says as he points towards the distant light. "If you're late, or I don't see any sign of you, I'm leaving." he warns as he pulled out and lit a cigarette. "I'll give you a warning flare ten minutes prior, in case you manage to get lost in the dark."

"Roger." I say, starting the jet ski and heading towards the glow Mr. Parks pointed out as the target's ship.

"He won't leave you out there." you hear the familiar woman's voice say in your ear. As you quickly speed towards the growing light, you manage to make out the light shape of what appears to be a decently sized yacht, looking about forty, maybe fifty meters long and nearly half as wide. "Try not to make too much noise as you get close. There should be emergency access ladders leading to the deck on either side of the bow, as well as a central one on the stern."

Since I have pretty much as long as I need to finish this contract, I take the jet ski in towards the stern at a slower pace so it doesn't make too much noise. "Do you have any way of contacting him directly if for any reason I can't get back to the jet ski?"

"We have contact, yes. Convincing him to bring his vessel closer may prove problematic, but manageable." she explains as you cautiously pull your jet ski to the back end of the ship. Finding the mentioned access point, you grasp onto the railing before securing the jet ski to it.

I slowly, steadily climb up, peeking over the ladder to check if there are guards at the top.

As you reach the top and peek over, you find yourself looking at what appeared to be a covered dining area, chairs and tables nailed to the deck spread out before you. To the right side, standing in the small gap between the wall and outside railing, you make out the figure of a lone guard staring out at the sea. As the figure turns, you are able to catch a glimpse of moonlight reflecting off a small handgun holstered at his side before he disappears around the corner of the ship's cabin.

Well, looks like I have a choice of some sort here. If he's doing rounds, then the best idea would be to follow the way he did, since there might be another guy coming from the other side. But if he's going for, say, a bathroom break, then the last thing to do would be following him and going the other way instead.
Pulling myself up from the ladder onto the ship itself, I start going the same way the guard did, staying at a safe distance back so I can spot any others coming up. "I'm going to need access to the guard's sleeping quarters, any idea where they are?" I whisper.

You quietly pull up onto the deck, creeping around the furniture to peek around the corner, seeing the guard slowly walking down the narrow lane between cabin and rail. After making your request, you hear a short moment of what sounds like typing before "Based upon visuals and schematics of similar vessels, I believe you are standing on the first of two stories, along with an additional deck below you and cargo hold. There are several small rooms on the second story of the cabin, which may be serving as rooms for guards. They may also be staying below deck near the cargo hold; It is impossible to say with certainty at this time."

Taking a moment to unwrap the plastic bag, I put the piano wire in a loop on my belt where it will be easily accessible, put the lockpick tools in my pocket, and attach the silencer to my gun. I fold and crumple the plastic bag and put it into my other pocket, just so it isn't left out for the guards to find. "Doesn't make sense for the guards to be staying near the cargo hold, they're protecting the target, not cargo."
I start advancing forward, gun by my side but ready to be drawn, standing straight as though I were another guard passing by. I look for a way into the cabin, and from there a way to the second story.

After situating your gear and turning your corner, it is only halfway down the channel before you find a windowed doorway on your left; the guard before you having disappeared from sight. Carefully opening and shutting the glass door behind you, you now find yourself standing in a small hallway at a fork. To your left and right both lie rooms leading to separate rooms, and in the middle of the hallway it appears to branch off to the left and right, another glass door leading outside facing you from the opposite end.

Towards the stern are probably stairs leading down, but not in the direction I want to go. So whichever way leads in the direction of the bow, I'll quietly look and listen into the areas going that way.

Deciding to that the stairs must be to your right, you poke your head around to see the left side clear. Down the hallway on your right, you see the back of a guard on the other end, quickly pulling your head in as soon as you notice the figure about to turn.

I cross to the other side of the hallway(left to right, so that I'm facing where the guard will come from) quickly, keeping the wall between me and the sight of the guard. I take out the piano wire, and get ready to lunge and choke the guard when they come around.

Pressing yourself to the wall quickly, you hear the faint footsteps slowly growing louder. Without hesitation, you lunge at the guard as soon as he enters your sight, the length of piano wire quickly being used to suffocate the guard. As soon as he grew limp against you, you slowly release the wire and guide his body to the floor without causing a noise. Looking around quickly, you have see neither hide nor hair of anyone else.

Since I didn't continue pressing the wire after he went limp, he's probably only unconscious. I probably have a few minutes before he wakes up again, and if he does, the alarm is sounded. I look over the guard for an ID tag of some sort, since it might come in handy later, then I take his gun, stuffing it into the back of my pants under my shirt.
After that, I take a peek outside to make sure no guards are there, then dump the unconscious guard overboard, retreating back into the hallway to continue my examination of the route inwards.

Thank god for typical U.S security. Upon taking the guard's weapon, you find it to be a similar Sig Sauer, if a slightly different model; At least the ammunition is the same. [+1 Addition Clip/8 shots] Finding no other useful items on the body, you quietly dispose of him overboard, slightly flinching at the faint splash. Upon ducking back inside, you continue to the end of the hallway and find it open up into what appeared to be a recreational room of sorts, with assorted couches and television screens scattered around the room."How in the hell do you play pool on a boat..." you barely hear in your ear, though sounding more like a thought out loud. Entering the room further, you find a doorway lying on the opposite wall lined up with the hallway, along with a slight balcony above your head and two stair cases leading up to it on either side. It appears that beyond each set of stairs lies a separate hall.

I'll go up the staircases to the level with the balcony, seeing whatever is up there. If there's a balcony, I'm guessing it will be something important, if only to show off. Just in case, I have my pistol ready, since at least two of the things I can think of if there's a room up there are bound to be guarded.

Cautiously climbing the steps, you reach the balcony and begin entering the closest hallway when you hear the door below you suddenly swing open, a guard soon entering into the recreational room below you.
