Conflict as a whole is needed to balance out the peace. We're kinda a community, albeit dysfunctional. And if we turn tail and run at the first problem, then whose to say we will ever stop? True, some issues in the past could have been handled better. But both sides have made mistakes, so any blame can't be centered on one person.

You can't blame Tim, Purring, or any of the other admins for that matter attempting to hold down what they believe in. Believe it or not, we are trying to improve the community as a whole.

But we also can't blame Prec singularly for stirring chaos. I'm sure he had a motive, and once his flame was struck, others took up the mantel.

Uh, it is no where near that point. Yeah, we may need better defined rules and better communication but we don't need to start over again because of the last couple of days.

Yeah, that may be a good outcome though I don't think many, if any, people here hate or dislike you all that much. I don't think it would be great to start over again though, we need to build on what we have now and work on the mistakes that we have made.

I honestly think that the average of twelve hours that we have between crime and punishment here is too long. If it takes too long, then the person doesn't know that they have committed a crime and may repeat it (or if they committed the crime on purpose and knowingly, they may spend a few more hours). Additionally, if I was given a ban twelve hours after an offense I would have no idea what the offense is, due to the nature of how internet moderation is supposed to work.

And we do have clearly defined rules. I just assume that lots of you read them once and completely forgot most of them.

While I wasn't exactly losing anything as the Earl of Strathearn, I was kinda stagnating, so I instead decided to play as the Petty King of Mumu (and then to conquer and purchase the De Jure of Éire) due to the fact that I figure that that'd go quicker and I could expand at my own pace without starting off with too large a kingdom.
