Once upon a time I planted an oak tree. I loved this infant oak tree, because I knew one day it would be huge, and it's day would live on for hundreds of years. One day, a few summers back, my dad was mowing the lawn and he accidentally ran over the tree. Since he felt really bad, he replanted a tree there, knowing I had really liked the tree.
It took me two years to realize the tree he planted wasn't an oak.

I was only reminded of this because yesterday I almost ran over my tree on the lawnmower.

In fact, the entire START of the argument began with a misinterpretation of a REFERENCE to THIS REFERENCE. You thought I had meh'd the song because of it being Skrillex, but in reality, tarandus had meh'd and I was simply stating, "My, would you look at that, isn't that funny how you're playing Skrillex, and here I had mentioned you and Skrillex together as well." Except I didn't word it like that, and you apparently hadn't seen this yet, so you thought I freaking hated Skrillex- WHICH- I don't. They can be nice when you're in the mood. I actually even have a few favorites by them. But no, no, apparently, I have everything Skrillex and dubstep is satan spawn. No. I was referencing THIS. Not my personal favorite of theirs; I simply wanted to make a name pun, which, as you know, is something I like to think I am quite witty at. |
