Gun with a sword would win, because at close range the gun could swing the sword, and at long range the gun could fire.
The sword with a gun with have a hard time shooting the gun because of its lack of feet, and so were it to operate by itself it would have no balance. There is also the fact that at close range it is screwed, because, should it try to stab its opponent, it would fall and ultimately die.
