It's June 9th, 2068. You look at the hover cars flying and the sleek buildings powered by solar and wind power. You sigh as you decide to play with your virtual reality machine. You do so by darkening the window using a touch screen surface and step into the machine to simulate whatever you want.
Oh yeah, basically, the prologue felt unnecessary, but eh. Just try to throw me a genre along with an optional subgenre and premise.

Premise: People log on to a popular shopping mall simulator, where people can eat, play, try various items and various activities. Until the log off feature is broken, if their machine is turned off. They will have permanent brain damage. Eventually people are going crazy, killing other people. People respawn, but the pain can be rather traumatizing.
