So, ISRP idea based off of a joke between me and someone else whose name I won't say, I'll live it to them if they want to step forward.
It's a Powers ISRP that focuses less on the idea of the life of an accomplished superhero and more on the origin story of a hero.
Long story short, your character gets a random super power decided by me and you, as your character, have to discover the effects and limitations of your superpower, deal with others who are developing their own power and interact with a world that's being changed due to the arrival of these powers.
Yay or nay?

Oh hey, it was me.
Anyways, this idea does sound interesting, and I think it would result in hilarity and insanity. I'm all for it.

You know my answer. I voted "I am a seal" because I thought it looked funny.

Alright, Tik, is that support enough to make it? I want to be in this quite badly...

You know my answer. I voted "I am a seal" because I thought it looked funny. Great! Cause I'll be asking for a sub-board once I'm done planning all of this out. Shouldn't be long, as the world building for this will be considerably shorter due to the fact that it takes place in the modern world and the only parts I need to invent is everything dealing with the superpower aspect of this.

I gave ya'll two votes just so you could vote "I am a seal" regardless of your answer. And yeah, Happy. It looks good enough to get things rolling.

So is this still a thingy It is, and everything is pretty much done. Once we get a sub-board up and running (Which won't be until tomorrow) we'll be good to go.

By the way, you never specified what kind of superpowers we'll have to deal with. Are they all annoying? Are they all problematic in everyday life?

By the way, you never specified what kind of superpowers we'll have to deal with. Are they all annoying? Are they all problematic in everyday life? For the most part, it depends on the superpower. Some, namely things like super strength or speed (1 power per person, however) may affect everyday life, but as for the rest, it only becomes a problem when you accidentally lose control of them. Of course, that's when we only look at the power itself. There is another element to them and it's that "element" that will cause the largest problem, especially if I decide to give you a stronger power than usual. But I'll save that little fun part for later.

Depends on the power. Suppose I give you a power like creating fire. If you're not thinking about it, you can set a whole building ablaze by just doing everyday things. Some aren't that simple. For example, in the ISRP there'll be premade characters to fill in roles you may not want to fill in yourself. One of those characters has a power that is fully aware and sentient. If I give you something like that, and it's intelligence is malevolent or it may disagree with you, it could try to fight you for control of your body.

Imagine having a second personality that would try to replace you. It'd be hard to fight, that's for sure. By the way, any hints on what the 'element' is? Or do we all have to wait and see what it is? You've got me curious.

Sorry, you're gonna have to wait. Come on! One little hint! Fine, just one. Depending on your power, you'll either find out what it is immediately or the next day. Otherwise it's something that'll creep up on you without you noticing until it's too late.

Ah, so it applies to multiple powers. The "element" exists in all powers. The only thing that changes is it's severity.
